@Swankdor No one has command over classical choreography like the Russians do. Compare their routines in Beijing to everyone else's. Yang Yilin was more comfortable with her Bolero music and she moved well to it at least.
I'm glad she is back, but we all know she is capable of reaching perfection, she really needs to improve her exercises on floor and vault to get to the AA. Here she improved her leaps but her landings and full spin need to be practiced a little more, but I am happy she recovered magnificiently.
I agree, especially that choreography from :51 to about :54 seemed so superfluous. I think what hurts her is that she doesn't have much expression in her face as she dances.
I absolutely agree. I think it's a common problem among the Chinese though. The way they chereograph and perform the routines makes it look like a chore, not a performance that they genuinely enjoy.
WOW! what a surprise! Personally, I adoooooooooooooooooooooore it! She's so exquisite, very nice choreography touches. She is a beautiful and expressive dancer, and on top of that she's goorgeous!. I loved her 2008 choreography best, but this one has lots of potential for worlds. Way to go Yilin!
I like her 2008 floor routine MUCH better

I don't like the music either. However, I happy to see that she has recovered from the injury.

I don't like it. It's like she couldn't hear the music. She's so detached from it.
