Marijuana should be legal simply because it's PROVEN to be less harmful than alcohol and tobacco. If you let adults make a decision to uses substances that a PROVEN to kill you over time or if you put enough into your body, then why not let them make the same decision about pot? It's bullshit.

Im all for legalization,who cares if i smoke weed it really doesnt affect you after you build up a tolerance,even when you dont its still doesnt affect you the way alcohol does which is promoted.But that one dude was right saying it isnt a cure all its just a reliever,it cures headaches,stomach aches,just makes pain in general more tolerable but its definitely not on par with penicillin.I will say its DEFINITELY a better reliever then fucking aspirin and all that acetaminophen bs

I don't see why this is even an issue. If marijuana was found today, growing on some island in the middle of the Pacific, it would be hailed as the greatest medical discovery since penicillin. It treats so many things while being less dangerous and more effective than most legal narcotics. This isn't about the legalization of marijuana, its about helping patients. How can you say it's fine to pump people full of chemotherapy poison, but not to relieve the pain it causes?

The cure for various other major illness' outdo marijuana. Marijuana doesn't actualy cure any desease it can be used to relieve pain etc though which is good but don't blow it out of proportion like that.

I have never smoked weed (or any narcotics, or even cigarettes for that matter) and I am still in favor of legalizing Marijuana, since it is based on the same principle of alcohol and cigarettes, and voting etc being legal.
