Anyone else get REALLY tired of people saying how much music sucks now, and how awesome it was before? You know what I miss? The good ol' days when music wasn't bogged down with all the complex lyrics, and you could just get lost in the rhythmic stylings of the blues.

Oh wait, we still have great music today. The same things said here have been said for every other generation in history. The past is not this mystical realm where all was good. Get used to change. There's a lot of it.

@ArcaneCH there's one difference between the other generation nostalgia and this generation's nostalgia. it's got to do with the medium changing and the ability for people to manufacture trash and the deluge that's so called music these days being watered down. And it's not just one genre; i should know because i'm a rabid reggae and it had been exempt for quite sometime from these nostalgic fall backs, except from the start of the early 2000s when dance hall took over.
