  • где нарыть оригинальный диск? с сайта немного не то с дррайверами

  • great video helped alot :D

  • Yeah, this procedure doesn't work when windows 7 autoinstalls its own drivers before the printer can open up its own installation application. How about providing some info on how to get around that little issue, HP?

  • hey there, this is an awesome printer, but i have one problem: i changed my wlan ssid and now obviously the printer cant connect to the wlan any more. however, when i connect my laptop to the printer via usb, smartinstall no longer appears, as it has been run once already. if i uninstall the printer (win 7 64bit), and then attach the printer via usb again, the printer gets installed, but smartinstall doesnt appear any more. how can i tell the printer the new ssid & password? thanks!

  • @raskolnikovfan Just incase you haven't figured it out yet (Or for someone else looking for an answer while stumbling upon this video). Found one way was to do a factory reset on the Printer itself by holding down the two buttons on the top while the unit is powered off, and keep holding the buttons down while you turn on the printer until the lights blink in unison. Then you can just run the setup again as shown in this video.

  • This video answered almost all possible questions. Here is one it didn't answer - if this printer is shared among several computers (like in the office), is this method necessary on all of the computers or only on the first one and then it's installed on other computers via IP port? Is the IP port fixed or does it change if you turn the printer off and on again?

  • @sbelosevic no.. you only have to do this once.. then you could share the printer across all your machines, the ip port stays fixed when you turn on again your printer (if your wireless networks has many many clients, you may need to set a fixed ip to your printer in your router configuration, this because the printer ip address could be assigned to another client)..
