a 450 would be faster up to about 60mph, but after 60 the XR will destroy a 450.

How do you figure the 450 would be faster at all? Lighter? As soon as the 650R gets traction, there's no 450 that'll touch it.

@TurnerMillsDesign it's been tested over and over again... a stock 450 MX bike is faster up to about 60mph because it is about 40lbs lighter with only about 5 peak HP less, but at that speed the 650 pulls aways with ease because of the higher gearing combined with the massive torque from the engine.

this being if the riders are of equal skill level.
