  • Ok, so the cleaning/flushing in the video does not need to be done on a regular basis? Every 6 months etc?

  • How often would you recommend doing this with printers that are used daily, average of 4 prints a day? 

  • @khymerthompson If you are using your printer daily, I recommend a nozzle once before print jobs only for assurance purposes. The only additional check should be performed if the color appears off.

  • @khymerthompson Only if there is a problem in the nozzle check would you do a cleaning. An unwarranted flush or clean would be costly.

  • @condesystems @condesystems I have looked at the simple green uk website. Is it the " All purpose Cleaner - Regular " that I should buy?

    I have cleaned the catchpan,which was caked with ink and now need to flush the capping station.

    Thankyou for posting this excellent video it has been very insightful for me.

    Denatured alcohol would work. It can be found at most hardware stores.

    Yes you could use this with all the 4000 series printers sold for sublimation.

  • is there an alternative of simple green as we don't have it in here.

    And can I use the same method to unclog the head of the same printer (actually 4880 model) ?? Thanks for the great videos ;)
