How does he still Ignis core. I know that Tonitrus' depends on how many times you get hit with lightning but what about Ignis'?

Hey, u say if Lloyd steals 1 of the core's, the only ending u'll get is the normal 1. But, in my game, he stoled 1 core n I still got the good ending. Hows that?

@EvilDarkMario1995 If Lloyd steals either Tonitrus' or Ignis' core it is not possible to get the good ending. Lloyd steals Lumen's core as part of the story, and it has no bearing on which ending you will get.

How do u get normal ending? i always thought it was only the perfect ending as "normal"

Yeah , the perfect ending is more the "normal" ending, or the ending that most people will get.

To get this ending Lloyd has to steal one or more of the cores from you.

@boredtodeath55 you can also get it by getting hit by the lightning a certain number of times in Volts temple, and you'd automatically get it.

It's pretty difficult to have Lloyd steal them. You'd almost have to go out of your way for him to do so, unless you leave you game unpaused in the Temple of Lightning or something.

So its not really easy to get hit by the lightining? OK. I was worried, I'm in UK, so I wont get the game till near the end of the year, but nevertheless.

Yeah, you should be fine as long as you keep moving and pause the game if you need to leave the room or something.

That's not how you get the normal ending? I thought you got it by choosing bad choices throughout the game and then letting Marta and Lloyd defeat you. And the good ending is by letting them defeat you but choosing good choices. And the bad ending is the one where you defeat Lloyd and Marta. That's what I thought... I always try to get the good ending though. The others suck ;D

By making certain choices, being struck by lightning, and exiting/entering the Triet Ruins repeatedly, you will get a certain number of points. When you accumulate a set number of points Lloyd will steal a core - Either Tonitrus' or Ignis' depending on where you are in the game when you surpass the point total. Having Lloyd steal a core is a surefire way to tell that you will get the normal ending after you let Lloyd and Marta defeat you at the end of the game.

Get hit by light approx. 14 + times in the Temple of Lightning or repeatedly exit and enter ( approx. 9 times) between the first and second screens in the Triet Ruins.

pledging alliegance to lloyd at the beginning in the game also amplifies the fact whether he steals the core in triet or not, i believe its 4-5 times entering and leaving the triet ruins at that point.

lol my first play trough no faqs i got the good ending because IM A NATURAL BORN HERO and the normal ending is boring,the bad ending is sad and the good ending is self described

Lloyd never stole Ignis' core from me. I made two saves before the Temple of Lightning.On one file I let Lloyd steal Tonitrus' core from me and on the other I kept Tonitrus' core so that I could show all endings.
