Man that's what I call freedom. If you live in the U.S. like I do you would probably agree that our freedom is not freedom at all. Nothing like it is in amsterdam..Does anybody know what a 1 bedroom apartment costs there?

50% of the kids in down town amsterdam walk straight from the school yard into the coffeeshop. kinda sad that some people have to fly half of the world to do the same...

anyway, don't buy stuff from people on the street. it's more expensive and probably just shit. better go into a coffeeshop and buy there. if you can't roll one, have someone teach you, so you can buy some grams, instead of prerolled joints. that way you're certain you aren't smoking grass.

You can spend as little as 50 euros per person per day and more, it really depends on you. I usually spend about 100 euros a day when in Amsterdam. That covers my food, drink, smoke, and some fun.... D

i am going to amsterdam tomorrow, the hotel cost us 646 euros between two persons, that's 323 euros each which includes breakfast, free WIFI and Plasma tv in the hotel ( and private facilities ) I am taking about 750 euros spending money for 9 days. So of course yours would be much cheaper !

There is a wide range of hotels, of course.

But there are also youth hostels with different prices. The cheapest ones are only a few euro for a bed in a 12 bed room :)

Living costs are like every international city. Maybe not expensive as Paris or London.
