The reason the firefighters did not enter the home was because there was NO FLOOR!!!! The fire started in the basement and by the time they arrived the fire was so intense the floor had been burned through!!!
So get your facts before your criticize and assume things next time!
If this is the case, then I apologize. From the video, it does not appear to be the case judging from the fire/smoke conditions present and based on very similar fires of which I have responded.

I applaud the efforts of getting a 2 1/2" line on the fire initially, but they could have moved through the front door at about the 1 minute mark and put this fire OUT!
Instead, not one line made it inside and the fire has still not been extinguished 7 minutes after arrival.
well by the time they got there the fire was too intense and there was no way of going in because it started in the basement. it was caused by the dyer and the fire burned through the floor and they couldent enter the elderly couple got out in time but one of there cats died in the window right in front of them :(

It appears that there are at least 3-4 firefighters on the fireground and on the initial hose line that was put into operation. If manpower was so limited, how did a second line get stretched as the first one was in operation?
I don't know about you, but 95% of the country makes aggressive attacks with 3-4 members EVERY SINGLE DAY! Manpower is no excuse for this.
