It reminds me of a friend who I lost he was fifty two and a father figure to me since I had lost my father when I was young. I listen to him and I'm reminded of all the wonderful music that's out there, of all those who grew up surrounded by it. I think of my parents, my grandparents, all the greats like Genoa Keawe, Gabby, Lena Machado, even Don Ho, who I first heard sing God Bless My Daddy, to name just a few, and I bless the day I was born (Hawaiian) in Hawai'i. Seems everybody, in my day, I'm 58, sang God Bless My Daddy to our guys serving in Vietnam. Thank you for posting!
