hi,, how is ur numbness after one year of surgery,,?, stil numbness? do u felt pain during cold or rainy day due to the metal fixation in the mouth? i am going to have bimaxillary surgery ,, and i more worry of long term pain and numbness after surgery in mouth . if numbness, that means u cannot feel the touching sensation around the jaw area? u cannot felt your teeth even accidentally bite the fish bone? and how are you kiss since the mouth become numbness?
how long did it take until your face looked normal-ish again or healed? :] and how much did the surgery cost? did you have any additional cost to pay for?
hi, are you glad you had it done? did you find eating a problem after? and what did you do to deal with the pain? any tips? my operation is tomorow im terrified lol
congratulations, it looks really good, i'm getting this done in a couple months, so how bad is the pain? i'm assuming they gave you meds for the pain? what exactly did they give you for the pain? did they give you vicodin or what?
i jus had this done im gonna starve its day 3 and i have bad hunger pains and dont feel good i had on bottom jaw and 4 wisdom teeth out cant sleep either when does it get better
I had this surgery when i was 12, helped out alot. But when i was around 15 i started having a popping sound happening on the right side of my jaw from the screws hitting the muscles where i had grown. Im 21 now and now my jaw is locking up from time to time. Looking into getting that fixed now. :S
had that same problem like 5 months after i had my first surgery done, they took the screws off my right side last friday and i can already feel the difference :) i suggest you do it asap
Hey yeah I hear you get screws and plates put it, do those ever come out? And I hear that there is also a chance in having your jaw shattered, is that true as well?
i really should have this kind of surgery... i just don't have the funds for it... i guess i'm better off dead if i'll never have a chance to undergo this same process... i just can't live a normal life having this f***ed up face... wish someone out there can be my sponsor... please do send me a message if you can help me change my life... i'm desperate... :|
Hi I will be getting the same thing done eventually and have some questions regarding he procedure, I noticed you mentioned your email address....where exactly is your email address
My wife has the same issue and difficulty chewing her food too. She is 29 now. Does anyone know if there is a way to have insurance cover this? I have not investigated this yet as I want to be better informed. Please help!
