Electoral college is also something everyone SHOULD know. Examples of jargon are "gotta go to depo in five minutes", or "30,000 foot view", or even "eat our own dog food".

It was an analogy Sam. The point is his logic is right . If you wouldn't send in your own kids to resolve a problem, it's obviously not worth it to send others. His lack of book knowledge as you put it is only because he isn't in office now. You must know the risks and the benefits of intervention to know if it's worth it. He is implying lives are not expendable. I have much respect for Cain for being this open with us on his views.
