Of course the wonderful Bette doesn't lip-synch and would never need to - she's a wonderfully talented singer/actress who will never need any "studio enhanced" help. She's the real deal folks - our Bette! Any resemblance to lip-synching is purely due to technical glitches here on Utube. (And we love Utube for presenting all of this!)

The problem is the video & audio are actually out of synch so what we are hearing is not matching up to what we are seeing. Bette doesn't lip-synch. When you are THAT brilliant, why would you!!!

@DAWJ02 I doubt she's lip-syncing, partly because she's a seasoned pro, but mainly because Arsenio was known for having a strict "no lip-sync" policy on his show. You couldn't perform on his show if you weren't going to do it live. The guys in Milli Vanilli were pissed that Arsenio refused to have them on unless they actually sang.

I just watched all five parts. How wonderful!!! I remember seeing her in Los Angeles, she was a second act. I remember she sang "You gotta have friends". She is a fantastic performer.
