These are two of my all time favourite women. Sade is missing. These two are so special. I base my desires off of these two and Sade. Probably a bad decision on my part.
Tune is beautiful great and interesting text very inspirational its quite different from text for feargal and sound much better when it is performed by maria mckee even on that bad recording
3 June 1990. The Big Day. Part of the year Glasgow was European City Of Culture. This looks like the Channel Four broadcast.
4 stages across the city. Good stuff.
Maria was billed as being on Custom House Quay stage. Whilst Michael Stipe and I were standing down there waiting for her, she was doing this.
The day is probably best remembered for Sheena Easton being bottled off in the evening on Glasgow Green. Rude, but she was pulling a prima donna and needed brought down a bit.
Viva Maria! God gave her the voice and the inspiration to write, I love her voice so delightful. Sharkey does a good interpretation, but he did not write the song.

I loved her in Lone Justice, but she's just awful, live.

@SuperDrJeckyl There's plenty of Lone Justice (early) stuff on YouTube where she's fanastic live.
