  • MARILYN MONROE AND AUDREY HEPBURN are true lovely goddesses of the earth.

  • @MrSuperpm1 marilyn monroe doesnt even deserve to make audrey a sandwhich, let alone be mentioned in the same sentence

  • @TheSweatyfatguy lol i was referring to their physical beauty.

  • @MrSuperpm1 hepburn was prettier lol

  • @TheSweatyfatguy lol I wasn't saying who's prettier or who's the least, I was saying that they're Goddesses because they're both pretty. just shut up okay?

  • I've been playing guitar for 8 years now, and I still haven't figured out how she makes those string sounds...

  • This is one of the best song ever written. I absolutely love Moon River. And this version sung by Audrey is the most touching one.

  • the most beautiful woman, i've ever seen!!" :o ♥

  • and what a "HI"... hummmmm

  • What a beatiful girl!

  • I like how we can see she has big hands, but not in a manly way, still very slender. But I guess she didn't like her hands, always wearing gloves...

  • <3

  • Audrey Hepburn is the best actress ...

  • The things that this movie and in particular this scene does to me. This will be my wedding song. Also is it me or is Paul, played by George Peppard the most dapper, gourgous and just plain hottest guys ever to walk the earth. Also intersting fact one of the powers that be at Paramount wanted to cut this scene and Audry stood up at the screening and said "over my dead body"

  • Goosebumps, after 50 years.

  • Love Her!!! GREAT Movie!

  • 26 dislikes?!!!! Do they have no souls?!!!

  • Oops, an't spell tonight, that's "goddess".

  • enchanting................

  • Это прекрасная песня...прекрасная Одри Хёпберн...прекрасный, мой любимый, фильм))))

  • This touching version is the ONLY one that captures the spirit of the song and lyrics. Many thanks for posting this gem.

  • ranbows been stolen,.,.how can a group of people steal everyone,s rainbows yet they did

  • Love her

  • how can someone be so beautiful!

  • All right. Somehow, the speed of sound is greater than that of light in this video. Video's off by probably half a second.

P.S.: That's one of my favourite songs and Audrey nailed it like no one else!

  • I'm cryin....

  • Funny, but this is the best version I have ever heard, no disrespect to Andy Williams.....

  • @pydo7 you're on tumblr and imgfave <3

  • i just noticed she really is singing like marilyn monroe

  • so pretty :D

  • My biggest dream was always to go to Paris.

Paris is unique in the world, Paris is perfect, Paris is the City of Lights, City of Love. Paris is my future, Paris, oh Paris, wait for me. You're mine. I Love You, Paris, beautiful city.

Moon River reminds me of Paris. I cry every time I hear. "Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker." Audrey is one, perfect. Like Paris. Ooh la la.

  • The song is lovely, but the best bit of all is that smile at the end, oh! to be the man she would look up at and smile that smile....

  • @mooncowtube ma lo sa che lei e morta?

  • @phlarrdboi sì, purtroppo, e belga

  • @mooncowtube si lo so! ora vivo in brusselas, é mi viene spesso di pensare a lei

  • It's also easy to see why Mancini thought Audrey was the only one who understood the song "so completely" and that her version was "unquestionably" the greatest one of all. She sang it with such innocence, sincerity, with no pretense, and her whole personality came through -- Audrey the singer was the Audrey we knew and loved.

  • What a great lady, in a great movie. Audrey Hepburn is the 'rainbows end' and the true epitome of class! Love her and may God rest her soul.

  • my god she's an angel!

  • best version of this song!

  • Reminds me of a girl i once new, ive thought about her everyday for 10 years. A sad sad waste of a life im sure. It still tears me up in side aswell, must be that thing called love you here people going on about all the time. Personally i think its a horribly painful experience that sticks to ur brain and soul without relief. It grabs you holds you, its relentless. And so tightly you feel ur life void without it hanging on ur heart and thoughts because it takes all, it becomes all.

  • goosebumps here too! I adore her in every movie that she graced. She is undoutedly from me the loveliest of all lovely ladies.

  • Beautiful Audrey. I fall in love every time I see her.

  • She was an amazing, elegant, classy, talented woman. I wish the girls my age could look up to her like I do instead of someone like Paris Hilton. People say I look like her which is nice :D

  • She is absolutely flawless

  • Oh Aubrey Hepburn, she was quite the woman, many stars today do not hold a candle to her beauty or talent for that matter. Although she is gone, she is immortalized.

  • Does anybody think Emily Browning has the potential to become like Hepburn?

To me, she has that same air of effortless feminine beauty..

  • SHS SURE CAN SING THAT SONG

    VERY BEAUTIFULLY WHAT SONG;

  • I just learned that the beloved Audrey's rendering of this song was not on the soundtrack album. What a travesty. I stumbled across this in-between study lessons, and I am floored. I didn't know that Audrey was privileged to introduce this classic to the world. I don't suppose I can handle the movie. But this song will stick with me for a long time. Thank you for posting this keeper.

  • Dear 3 months ago...you and your wife...the rainbow's end!!!

  • I rarely saw women, that were as beautiful as her... <3

  • This is the end of summer semester,so I'm stressed with finals and finding a job to save money for next semester, but Ms. Audrey Hepbern calmed me down and took away my stress just with her singing and beautiful face. :) I love this woman. She is my rolemodel.

  • True beauty lives forever.

  • god I had to play this for my exam well hard!!!!!!

  • i love this song that she sings.. What an amazing talent Audrey Hepburn was. Her movies are very good and she just had such class and was so graceful... I loved her in Roman Holiday.. Very good movie.

  • I saw this in 1963, when I was sixteen years old. I went to the Cinema with my then girlfriend, now my Wife of forty five years, and "Moon River" is our favourite tune. In those days everything was brand new, unlike now, where everything has been done, and nothing is better. Where is the "Rainbow's End" these days?

  • @pydo7 In short, you are an old coot. It's an excellent song though.

  • @CountSpatulaIII You Count, (Did I spell that correctly?) I am indeed an old Coot, as you indeed are a young "Count", who, I suspect, knows "Jack Sh..." ,er, that is, "You know Nothing, about Anything at all". The "Sixties" were a Golden age, and we that were there at that time changed the World. I feel nothing but sorrow for you young people these days, for ARMAGEDON beckons, and I fear that your generation is doomed.

History is about to repeat itself.

    Felicitations to You and Your's.

  • @pydo7 "we hanged the world"

"the world was so muh better then"

so you made it worse then?

  • @Shadowplayer1983 ER.... no..... actually.

WE "CHANGED" THE WORLD was what I said.

The world was so much better then.

It is silly bastards like YOU, who can't spell, never mind read, who have changed the World back for the worst.

  • @pydo7 "Inception"?

  • @Amblin80s "Inception" you say?

    Inception means Beginning.

The "Sixties " were the beginning of the Modern Age.

    Please explain your remark!!!

  • @pydo7 Sorry to say today "rainbow's end" is down the toilet.

  • @HarvardEsquire Hey Monty old buddy, nothing is "Down the Toilet" unless you let it be.

Every age brings new opportunities, and why shouldn't it be you who brings it around?

    Think positive.

    Move Mountains.

    Bon Chance mon ami.

  • @pydo7 Amazing, I wish I was alive back then.

  • @AnthonyJK1982 You would have loved every minute.

  • @pydo7 *goosebumps*

  • @knightLynderic Audrey Hepburn was one of the most talented actresses that ever graced the cinema screen, and lovely with it.

    "Goosebumps" indeed!

  • @pydo7 Raimbow's End is in your heart and memory.

  • @SophyaAgain Indeed, heart of a person half my age, and memory of a time of more civilised behaviour than has been shown recently.

We thought that we were rebels in the "Sixties", but it did not streach to burning down people's houses and looting shops.

"Rainbows End" seems to mean something different these days.

  • @pydo7 Katy Perry is providing the "Rainbow's End" these days with glo-dust spandex and peppermint twirly-stix nipples.

  • @hoibsh You might go blind.

  • @pydo7 Maybe the Rainbow's End is where it always was, in your heart.

  • @pydo7 How romantic! I agree with you... this song is the only lullaby that has ever been able to lull my son to sleep.

  • I own the previous generation, the tears Tears.

  • I love the comment someone said about Audrey being vulnerable. She had a special quality that made you want to protect her from the world. Didn't Mancini say her version was the true version of this song? If he didn't say it I will. You actually capture the simplistic beauty of the song with her voice. This is something all professional singers should listen to.

  • Look at his face! It is the expression of love! It is the communion of their existence in your being! Your heart at its core. It is the claim to know itself. And everything you do wake up when Hepburn launches his eyes to heaven.

  • Look at his face! It is the expression of love! It is the communion of their existence in your being! Your heart at its core. It is the claim to know itself. And everything you do wake up when Hepburn launches his eyes to heaven. What beautiful facial expressions.

  • Look at his face! It is the expression of love! It is the communion of their existence in your being! Your heart at its core. It is the claim to know itself. And everything you do wake up when Hepburn launches his eyes to heaven. What beautiful facial expressions. What a beautiful voice and melody.

  • Look at his face! It is the pure expression! It is the communion of their existence in your being! The heart at its core. The claim to know yourself. And everything you do wake up when Hepburn launches his eyes to heaven and that he was watching her. What beautiful facial expressions. What a beautiful voice. Linda melody.

    Awarded be you "Audrey"

  • Nice, thanks.

  • i like audrey shes gorgeouse, talented and good actress in all tym.

  • was this ever recorded with her vocals in a longer version, I cant get enough of it

  • They're both lovely, in different ways. Audrey was always very unprotected, very vulnerable. Grace was always the more obvious beuty. But both were lovely, talented women.

  • Ahh, Audrey Hepburn! Second only to Grace Kelly in gorgeousness :)

  • i think audrey should be first :)

  • I love her version of "Moon River" - she is just perfect!!!!

  • Audrey Hepburn is amazing in this film & i like her too much in "comment voler 3 millions de dollars" (scenes in Paris) too!

;) sorry for my "bad" english!!!

  • Where's the rest of the A team?

  • In the Operation Epsom and Market Garden Allies crushed nazis, lot of soldiers have died in the ww2 ... Addition to Audrey Hapburn...
