im a mechanic also 15 years.. at a dealership i dont remember what they wore i went into pepboys a few times to buy little things car wax etc noticed they would mess around alot in the shop because no one comes there for repairs i always see them jerking off they really are just tire and lube guys

Yeah thanks for lumping us all in the same category. I guess you are an ASE certified master tech right ? I know this video doesn't reflect well on the higher level techs like myself but you have to realize these guys are low level techs just starting out in the business. Personally I don't expect too much from a Tech I they are mostly just goober lubers, but the Tech III and Tech IVs are different class of technicians.

Mechanic implies you only work on mechanical parts, but modern techs have to work with electrical/electronics on late model cars. Technician is a broader word that's more appropriate.
