  • how does the car reacts in the snow? i'm in Québec and thinking of get the car out this winter.

  • i remember taht 2 years ago in PA

  • I have a Cobalt SS Turbocharged and I absolutely need new tires. I read reviews on this tire and the price is great, but I hear the snow performance sucks. So is it bad or decent enough. I live in Colorado and our snow looks like yours, except we have more hills on a drive that long.

  • @vahdyx I would go with a dedicated set of winter tires. These Kumho ASX's are all season. They do well in packed snow / tire tracks. But I have some issue getting up some steeper hills. Also they wore out after about 30k miles. They are also noisy on the road. I will try a different brand next time, however that said I think they are still a decent tire for the price.

  • overall how wud u say it fairs

im thinkin bout gettin a 08 nd it snows a decent ammount here

  • @skillz139 It's pretty much like any other FWD, I think it's fine for the occasional snow each winter we get here. For a lot of snow I'd want a jeep or another 4x4.

  • 0:25 you ran a red light lol

  • @00prixgtp No, I made a right turn on a red light, there's a difference.

  • @abysal311 hhaha yeh

  • @abysal311 still need to make a complete stop on a right on red lol

  • @steng2495 true, I did not come to a complete stop as the law states, although I did look left and made sure there was no traffic... there was none as the roads were very empty due to conditions. That's also why I didn't come to a complete stop so as to not lose traction.

  • So mazdaspeed 3's can take the snow? Cuz im thinkinng abuot getting one but i go to school where it snows a shit load in the winter

  • @weebig Sure as long as you know how to drive it. It's like any other fwd car. Although this year I plan to go with dedicated winter tires. In this video i had Kumho ASX all season 215/45's on.I plan to go to 235/40 for my winter set.

  • My Speed3 was going NOWHERE in the snow....probably because I still had the stock potenzas on it which went bald after 15k miles..

  • yeah last year i was in the same boat, those summer bridgestones were aweful in the snow lol. and they do wear down fast as well.

  • You could even put it in the genre of trancie-house.

I've used to the ASX's... not terribly impressed. However, if they work for you then that's all that matters.

  • yeah I was surprised at how well they did on the ice and snow. They are not that good in the rain. And are just barely Ok for the power I'm putting to them on dry road.

    What tires do you prefer?

  • Techno? More like Trance if you ask me.

    cool Vid, love the snow.

  • you're right, I usually merge the two genres together, rather then distinguish them.

  • whoa. I was mesmerized!

  • hehe cool glad you liked it.

  • Those wheels look pretty nice.

  • hehe thanks, I try and baby them, but winter always takes its toll.

  • nice video, cool editing!

  • Thanks, I was messing with speeding things up the right way so that it doesn't cut the video. I had this up for a while but YT killed my original song, so yeah more techno... but at least it a safe bet sound track not to get banned :p

  • Techno sounded good especially with the speed up video. good job

  • thanks man!

! i didn't know you watch my vids! whats up dude :p
