je me suis pas pris la tête pour ces dessins , je me suis dit ce jour la tiens je vais dessiner quelque dessin de Shinkawa avec le matos que j'avais ,sur l'instant je ne me suis pas dit "attention il me faut le matériel de Shinkawa pour que cela ressemble le plus possible " , non je me suis lancer comme ça ni plus ni moin et rien a foutre du reste et ça le fait non !^^

c'est vrai que Yoji a un style inimitable et que j'admire vraiment...

en regardant ses dessins je me suis demandé si son style ne venait pas du fait qu'il ne faisait pas de crayonné préalable, qu'il appliquait ses encres instinctivement, d'où sa facon non académique de représenter les choses...

j'aimerais trouver une vidéo pour le voir à l'oeuvre justement et m'en assurer...

sinon ton travail de copie est remarquable, meme si bien sur impossible de battre les originaux ^^

And guys don't get me wrong.

Even if you critics, he is using different medium. Actual fact is, that he is good at what he's using. So that's nothing wrong with it. All in all, he is trying to learn to master his own skill on coloring it, without inking or marker.

Although it doesn't come out as quality as Shinkawa, at least he able to produce his own skill. So that's how different it can be.

He is very good in applying pressure and stroke with watercolor. I can never be good in watercoloring......plus you need steady hand to apply, and knowing which type of color to apply, coz they can easily messed up if you didn't do according blend of colors.

You guys shouldn't flame, coz he really is a big fan of that Japanese artist. So let's consider this French guy a very gifted artist of having such skill.

All of the materials are wrong. Yoji uses markers/photoshop, not watercolours. This is just a half baked poor copy of someone elses work.

No one appreciates that in illustration. Infact, it doesn't show any talent at all.

Since when do people get in to design to make work that meets up to 1 other person's standards, let alone out right copying an image.

I can't believe that people have the gull to say that they can do what this guy can do. Alot of the success of metal gear is thanks to the designs. MGS doesn't look like Gears of War. Yoji just has a bizarre style of painting and drawing that complemented the MGS universe.
