@stockedmuscle It is not a "hood scoop" - its a cowl hood.
The idea is that air hitting the windshield gets routed down under the back of the hood, thus feed fresh cool air to the carb, and subsequently, the motor.
you should probs put a cage in. stiffins up the frame from twist and youll get a faster track time. but wicked car

It is lighter so less weight in front so the car shifts the wight easier.
