I've been watching these episodes for the first time. I don't own a TV.

This episode convinced me that the producers of this show wanted the public to understand the relationship between Jews and gentiles in a way that they could accept.

When the hunter starts screaming at Fitz, I felt exactly like I do when anti-Semitic gentiles who don;t understand what we are on about accuse us of all kinds of distorted things and a will to dominate that we don't possess and want to kill us.

it was a shame Darius was killed off he was a great character who could have had a lot more development and screen time.. and they could have found another "old friend" of Duncan's for the watchers to kill (or just the Fitz storyline without killing Darius).

Ritchie's "who died" line was not cool.. but they boy will have to start growing up in S2 ;)

@markpud Dont know if you know but the guy who played Darius actually died suddenly in real life from a brain tumor i believe, so they had to kinda kill him off and bring in Fitz to replace him, though i agree 100 percent with what you think of Darius, he rocked

This episode really marked a turn around in the series and gave it a real identity against the original film. Not just a simple spin off and added a touch of sophistication with originality to writting of the series. Great Channel by the way :)

For something that severe, I only know of it happening once, and it did not grow back.

Basically, what a mortals body has no ability to do, an immortals body cant.

Immortality simply excellerates and enhances the healing power. It can put bones back in place and heal them, repair tendens and muscle, heal cuts,etc..

But it cant create whole bones or other extremeties.

If the arm is cut off, it heals the cut quickly, just like an extremely accelerated version of what our system would do.

so what if an immortal gets shot? he gets healed and comes back to life so does the bullet just stay inside him? lol so what if immortals don't eat or drink? do they starve? can an immortal get really fat and never die from a heart attack? these are things i always wonder about

All of those questions have been answered in the series, you just have to keep watching

Though the series treats things as killing them, they can repair nearly anything that is only partially lost

If you pull out their heart, their body doesnt create a new one, but if you shoot them in heart, it will repair the partial damage

Heart attacks are non-permanant damage, easily repairable

Its better described that things that kill mortals put imortals into a state of shock, like a coma, til healed

First of, Immortals are immune to any dsciese. They also don't have any physical disfunctions. So they can never get a heart attack. Also, they don't starve forever. In the first movie, when Conner was drowning and completely out of oxygen, the Queckening allowed him to breathe underwater. The same thing with food - they get really hungry, but when the time comes to die of hunger, the Queckening prevents it. And think, the bullets just desintegrate inside their bodies.

if the quickening prevents from aging, getting sick, and revives them when they die from things like gunshots and stab wounds etc. then it must prevent them from gaining weight and getting out of shape. So in theory a immortal should be able to eat as much as they want without gaining weight. If they stay the exact same age when they died the first time then they probably stay the same size (height weight) to no matter what.

@aoteren Well actually I think they do "die", just for an extremely short period of time. If you seen the episodes with Grace's stalker and Xavier St. Cloud they do die,(from a stab wound and gas respectively) but they revive in minutes. So your theory is mostly correct.

P.S. It's Quickening, not Queckening.

The question was, what happens to the bullet wounds? If an Immortal is shot to death, he dies, but then revives - what happens to the bullets that were stuck inside his body? IMHO - they just desintigrate. Quickening shuld provide a complete healing.
