I was wrong, god has touched me and some people call me crazy but I believe in jehovah and his son jesus christ. God has done many miracles in my life and has blessed my life abundantly ever since I started walking with him. My proof of god is through his miracles, his blessings and his work.

In case you don't have a scientific background here is what scientists do. They look for evidence that either backs or rejects a hypothesis or theory. If the evidence rejects the theory (note:a theory needs to be testable to be a theory) then they change the theroy until it fits the evidence more accurately. From thsi they can then give the most likely cause of an effect using the available evidence. If new evidnce comes along then the theory can change again, science is adaptable to change.

You forget one thing. There is one thing that science can't answer, and FAITH can. That question is .... Were do we come from, how did life start. Science has never been able to offer evidence to prove how life began. Only faith answers that, faith is something science will never understand, but is the basses of all excistance. I was one of those people who thought god wasn't real or it was just something crazy people believed in. I was wrong, god has touched me and some people call me crazy but I believe in jehovah and his son jesus christ. God has done many miracles in my life and has blessed my life abundantly ever since I started walking with him. My proof of god is through his miracles, his blessings and his work.

In case you don't have a scientific background here is what scientists do. They look for evidence that either backs or rejects a hypothesis or theory. If the evidence rejects the theory (note:a theory needs to be testable to be a theory) then they change the theroy until it fits the evidence more accurately. From thsi they can then give the most likely cause of an effect using the available evidence. If new evidnce comes along then the theory can change again, science is adaptable to change.

You forget one thing. There is one thing that science can't answer, and FAITH can. That question is .... Were do we come from, how did life start. Science has never been able to offer evidence to prove how life began. Only faith answers that, faith is something science will never understand, but is the basses of all excistance. God has always been, and will always be. Only faith can understand or comperhend that. In the end Science will fail, because only faith will stand throughout time!

I'll say it again because you didn't read my earlier post, science does not set out to "prove" theories, we look for evidence that gives us the "most likely" explanation for an effect. Faith assumes that the only possible explanation for life is a "magical sky fairy" and doesn't even bother trying to look any further. Faith can't disprove evolutionary theory.

Scientists have been able to replicate conditions on earth billions of years ago and managed to produce simple proteins/amino acids which in turn are the building blocks of RNA and DNA. We now have several theories that explain the origins of life and none require magic from a sky fairy! Faiths disappear every few thousand years, maybe yours is next. Science wins becuase it is adaptable and doesn't assume that a god used magic to do everything.Science looks for answers and rational explanations

I once knew a person who was convinced that they had seen elvis in their living room in 2003. He was of course deluded as CAT scans have shown the part of his brain that deals with imagination was overworking. Why can't someone who claims to see a "god" be deluded too?

Yes is was curable, but not by doctores, they are the ones that said it can't be done. God cured! That so called "experiment" was not done in faith, that is the reason it did not work. The experiment was using one secular hospital and a religious one using the same medical techniques, no difference between a holy one and a secular one. Praying does not cure people, have you heard of the placebo effect?

What do you do with a heart that is not working properly? The only fix is a operation, and a new heart. Yet; it is documanted in the childrens heart foundation, that my daughters heart has healed. Impossible, yet with God it is possible. No "placebo" could do that! I realy feel sorry for you, for without faith, you have an emptiness inside you that only Jesus can fill. It documanted in hospitals of missing lims growing back into place after prayer, and much more. Prayer dose work! God is real!!!

She was to have a heart transplant by the age of 5. As for growing limbs, it's there, just because you have not seen it, does not mean it don't excist. Using the wind as an example is not a good one because the wind is simply particles that are smaller than the range our eyes can see and there is plenty of scientific evidnce for "wind". scientists never ask for proof because proof is impossible to find for any theory, scientists look for dis-proof and evidence. e.g. to prove this theory "all oranges are always orange" is impossible, it would require you to find every orange that ever existed and in the future too. Instead you try and disprove the theory by finding an orange that isn't orange. This makes the theory more accurate because you can now say that "most oranges are orange".The onus is on you to provide evidence not me.

I know someone who has a child with a life threatening condition, they, like you, are religious but their child died because they refused medical care and thought their prayers would be answered. Does this not suggest to you that there is the possibility that prayers don't work, and that they are a form of OCD or superstition? hootieismydog my friend. In approaching the bible, you must always read in context, i.e knowing what's the culture back then etc. You can't just take whatever you read at its face value. For example, in the New Testament, Jesus said that one gotta hate his or her parents if he or she were to follow Him. Does He means literally hate our parents ? I doubt so. I suppose He meant, to love God even more than our parents, the ones closest to us on earth.

The verse you've so condemned to be demeaning, especially to our Christian faith, was written in the old days. Now that Jesus Christ has come and redeemed us, one harsh law you've pointed out is no longer... I can't say it isn't in effect, but it's definitely less occurrent.
