  • and something else? for example, candles change? ...

  • Thanks for the vid.Just got my package today.Going to install to my FZ1S ABS 2010 tmrw.Btw,I'm using BMC air filter.

  • Thanks for the video. Was trying to figure out my 2008 FZ6 and this was similar enough to do the job. Twenty five minutes was spot on.

  • song name plz, i like the jazzy stuff, beautiful bike btw

  • I love FZ1, and by the way... I REALLY love this background music, too !!

  • Nicely done.

    Thanks!

  • Suck my dick youtube. You have to have every little penny. If somebody is putting that music in there video, chances are it is already bought and paid for. IT IS NOT YOUR PLACE TO DEMAND WHAT SHOULD BE REMOVED AND WHAT SHOULDN'T. IF I PAID FOR IT, IT IS NOW MINE TO USE, AND YOU HAVE NO SAY. FUCK OFF

  • @SupraTuned - Unfortunately, the law supports what they're doing. If they didn't THEY could get sued. And you know how the record industry works, right?

As one of Charles Dickens' characters said "The law is an ass."

  • Great video, and very instructional, but that music was awful...I'd rather have silence and ultimately, the engine starting up...

  • @65pont Agree the music sucked. YouTube made me change the audio cause of the music that was on there. Unfourtantly I lost the original video so I couldn't remix. it.

  • @SmoothbassmanStudios Yeah, you can't fight the man. Seriously, thanks for posting this video. Motorcycles have gotten so complicated that even changing an air filter isn't the 30-second process it used to be, and seeing a person do what you did on video--once--makes it a lot easier to do the first time. Keep up the good work

  • @SmoothbassmanStudios You should do more such videos when you work on your bike. Your videos are light years better in quality than most I've seen on Utube. Heck, I have a Bandit, but I just like watching your stuff...

  • I like the Lame Jazzy Track...

  • thanks for this... this is very helpfull..keep posting similar videos.. pople will appreciate this....

  • what bars are those? thanks

  • good vid,my next bike....fz1 baby!

  • And don't trap the breather pipe under the tank like the dork in the workshop that fitted mine. Or you end up blowing the rocker cover seals and getting oil evrywhere

  • Thanks! This is very well done. I just bought my FZ1 and this, with the service manual, helps a great deal in preparing to do maintenance. Hope you've got more of these!

  • Hey, thanks for this man. I've got an 08 R6, and I'm wanting to do everything that I can on my own. I'm hoping that the set-up isn't different for some strange reason. I'd rather spend my time working on the filter than pay through the nose getting someone else to do it. Again, thanks a lot man!

  • Helpful, thanks. I'm changing my filter tonite, and I would have removed the tank completely and from the opposite direction (and would have to remove the fuel line). This vid this saves me some trouble.

  • good vid man, keep up the work......ride on

  • Haha, I'm missing my front body work from my 07 at the moment, I crashed 2 weeks ago, awaiting the new stuff will be here monday, then I can reassemble and continue tuning with the PCIII, and head back to the hills. Oh I run a BMC filter, I heard from my folks on FZ1OA forum that the K&N didn't fit their airbox correctly.

  • Glad I downloaded this with the jamming sound. Great vid, I have an 06 FZ1. Thanks a ton.

  • Just I want to say thank you!

  • i'm new to bikes. Besides the obvious, what is the difference between the fz1 and an r1? Correct me if I'm wrong but I've read that the fz1 was actually faster(higher acceleration on low-end to mid-range) than the r1, which I'd prefer. Man, I'm torn.

  • There two differnces in the Fz1 and R1 except for the riding position.

First the Fz has a different cam giving you more mid range torque. Since the FZ was really designed as a sport touring bike, mid range power is important for crusing. Its really weak on the low end. The R1 wins there. Additionally the gearbox has a taller 5th and sixth gear which gives you better fuel economy.

Basically the FZ is more comfortable to ride, better fuel economy, and cheaper insurance.

  • The FZ1 is a torque monster. I can't get over how much grunt it has whenever you need it.

  • buy Graves velocity stacks and the mid range is wild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If your new to bikes and have never ridden before you really need to be looking at a 600 instead of a liter bike. 1000's have way more power and a very thin line between in and out of control. Throttle control is very important on both bikes but you have more wiggle room on a 600. A 1000 will break the tires very easily and you will be on the pavement unless you know how to drift it. And since your new you probally don't know.

Get a small bike to start out with and then move up.

  • lol the 07 fz1 was my first bike, im at 21,000 miles now, no accidents , stop scaring people, lol

  • my first bike is a 06 fz1.....noo problems so far

  • two different bikes for different purposes, need to get whatever you think will be ur riding style

  • Nice job man, keep it up

  • Sorry, YouTube made me change the freaking music to this lame track! Please rate content!

  • nice video also nice music
