activate a resetpoint or install windows again....

its a fold in your bat system. from windows

(C:/windows/~show hiden items~/Winbat.bat)

look if you can find this prog.

Nobody knows. i had it ones with a trojan. My brother had it with a download version of windows and my nabours had it with a wrong installation of a service pack.

Well, first rename the file as .BAT. Still won't work? Open notepad, paste the code, save AS .bat, and select "All Files". If it still won't work, go to propities, uncheck "read only" and "hidden"

in that folder click.

Tools, Folder Options, View (tab), uncheck the box "Hide extensions for known file types".

Change run client to RunClient.txt open it in notepad and re-save it as RunClient.bat

Have you been tinkering with your system files?

I've had this same problem, it's because a system file for executing it is missing, thus whenever you click on is, all it does is cut the file. To see what I mean, just try to use the file, see when it goes transp, then right click to paste it. As for how to fix it, idk, I have no idea which file you've fucked up.

My guess is, you downloaded something that had a virus with it and deleted certain system files.

Solution, reinstall windows...

Does it give you an error before it shuts down??

If it does keep shutting down click Start, Run, CMD. When CMD comes up type in shutdown -a and that will stop it.

You may need to restart in safe mode and check your start up files.

Ok, open up a new notepad.

type this in:

@echo off

cd

ren *.bat *.bat

save it as ren.bat with "all file types" selected.

Double Click and it might work.

(it changes every BATCH file in your harddrive (CD) to a BATCH file.)

Check if the file extension is correct, it should be .bat

also you should edit the file to make sure the starting command lines and the last command lines are correct, google for the correct starting command lines
