Place is very creepy, went there with a bunch of people and there were already 3 weirdos inside. They were getting ready to "setup" upstairs not sure what they meant but they ran off after we declined to join them. The underground tunnels are scary as hell and you get this feeling ur being followed.
This was well done. If the appearance of the place wasn't creepy enough, that sound track made it worse. I wouldn't spend the night in that erie place for $1,000.
the man at the end is that a real dead dude?!it looks like he has burn marks like he was set of fire the he was put out and maybe died from the pain.i remember when i saw a dude on fire(tears)*~*it was a horrible and i was like 10 yrs old and i remember that it smelled REALLY bad and he was screaming running around and he was rolling on the floor then eventually stops rolling on the floor his arms look like they were melting and i was traumatized and i was crying like crazy,never play with fire.
my husband used to work here, and he said that it was truly haunted. they could leave at night and in the morning desks would be turned over and stacked up it was crazy. he also said that when he was there late he could hear people running down hallways when no one was there and screams in the abandon parts of the building thins like that.
I feel bad for the mentally ill. They are really no different than anyone else they just have a chemical imbalance or what have you of the brain. If it were a cancer ward. I doubt they'd do a ghost story on it.

I really don't like talking about it but I saw a dark figure standing about some few feet away from me. I was with some friends and we decided to go into some tunnels which was said to have a lot of activity. Of course it was in these tunnels where I saw this figure. So I was with my friend and suddenly felt this overwhelming powerful force that literally struck me in the chest. I was knocked out for 3hrs. My friend recorded what happened and I saw myself being dragged about a feet on the floor.
Of course I was dragged by this force. My friends were yelling "let him go, let him go". I was knocked out for 3 Hours Man!!!! My friends were scared shitless. I still have the video until today. Some group or whatever wanted to investigate the clip and air it on television but we rejected it. In my mind something tells me not to do it. I learned my lesson man, to respect the dead. Of course I didn't do anything wrong but I felt that I was trespassing. I feel some fault in what happened.

No the main Kirkbride building for which the old greystone is known by is still there. There is a dispute going on as to when to tear it down. Several other greystone buildings are demolished. Word to the wise don't try and break in..... security has gotten tighter there and the police will arrest you.
If the where abouts of M0t0cyco, cooper, and Reaper are needed, they should still be chained in the tunnel, where it leads to large room with cells and more tunnels. just check

by the way you should take a camera, thermal camera so you can find weird hot or cold spots, EmF detector because i heard ghosts can give off magnetic energy, some video cameras to spot strange shadows or apparations, and try asking questions like ask them to show them selves or do something show you that they are here and use the Evp voice recorder to record them just in case they answer you back in words it possible i've seen it on tv.

I really don't like talking about it but I saw a dark figure standing about some few feet away from me. I was with some friends and we decided to go into some tunnels which was said to have a lot of activity. Of course it was in these tunnels where I saw this figure. So I was with my friend and suddenly felt this overwhelming powerful force that literally struck me in the chest. I was knocked out for 3hrs. My friend recorded what happened and I saw myself being dragged about a feet on the floor.

Of course I was dragged by this force. My friends were yelling "let him go, let him go". I was knocked out for 3 Hours Man!!!! My friends were scared shitless. I still have the video until today. Some group or whatever wanted to investigate the clip and air it on television but we rejected it. In my mind something tells me not to do it. I learned my lesson man, to respect the dead. Of course I didn't do anything wrong but I felt that I was trespassing. I feel some fault in what happened.

I wish i could remember the name but I remember reading an entire article on a hospital in New Jersey that was shut down because of the abuses to patients, including being chained to the heaters and fed out of dog dishes. Is this the same place or am I thinking of another one?

Wow, could be cool if stupid kids didn't vandalize it. Ill never understand kids that do that sh-- I never did and now there's way awsome haunted places in the ghost town I grew up in (Superior WY) that aren't messed up with vandalism. Other than that awsome, wish I could got there :)

well this building is still up, and looks really cool... well freaky too. but yah i pass this place all the time as i live like a couple of miles from it, they made a new hospital across the street which is realy nice and is actually used but the old one looks awesome.

No the main Kirkbride building for which the old greystone is known by is still there. There is a dispute going on as to when to tear it down. Several other greystone buildings are demolished. Word to the wise don't try and break in..... security has gotten tighter there and the police will arrest you.

there is a psychiatic hospital that was shut down long ago here in washington well not really in washington but its close and they just now made a "haunted hospital" halloween attraction i went there yesterday it was pretty damn scary (sorry if i spelt anything wrong)

the main building hasn't and hopefully won't be demolished. there is an organization trying to preserve it. all of the other buildings on grounds have been knocked down though.

greystone used to be a good place to go but the cops have gotten really strict and now arrest anyone even if they haven't gone in the building! i do not suggest going there at all.

by the way you should take a camera, thermal camera so you can find weird hot or cold spots, EmF detector because i heard ghosts can give off magnetic energy, some video cameras to spot strange shadows or apparations, and try asking questions like ask them to show them selves or do something show you that they are here and use the Evp voice recorder to record them just in case they answer you back in words it possible i've seen it on tv.

ok... I had to come back and comment on this again. STIGMA is something that has to end. The old greystone is still up and they have not decided on what to do with it yet. Lots of patients went back to the community after recovering and about 400 were transfered to the new greystone. Recovery is possible!!!! There is no cure for mental illness. Stop believing please, in everything you see in the movies. For your info, out of 10 americans at one point of their lifes suffer from a mental illness
