I'm an Asian Australian and in the three weeks that i spent in America last year, I received more racist remarks than I've ever received in my entire life in Australia.

i understand that you may have "known someone, who has a friend, who had a cousin that lived in Australia, and he said they were racist and backward" -but unless you've lived it, as i have, please don't comment about things you don't understand.

That's because racism in our country is seen as a thing to be laughed at. A white person can make fun of a black man, while the black man can make fun of any white person.

Mutual respect means mutual fun at eachothers expense. We see racism for the inferior joke it is, and that's the beauty of it. Fun racism is a shit load better then malicious racism.
