I like these clips from the show, because they actually show the weapons in use. But for an ex-Navy SEAL, he sure gets a lot of his facts wrong. Such as the name of the weapon, and the fact it's not new. It's a recent redesign of a 38-year-old weapon. Plus, he seems to have graduated from the William Shatner school of over-dramatic acting. :)

I like seeing the FRAG-12 rounds in use, though. While they're not new either (dev. in 1994), they are ultra-cool.

The AA-12 is 16lbs, over 20 years old and no known organizations use it.

Military Police Systems, Inc has been trying to find someone to buy it since 18 years ago when they bought it from Maxwell Atchisson.

My $500 Saiga shotgun is 8lbs, can be had with 20 round drums and can be fired faster than the AA-12 even though its not full auto.

You can find a Siaga-12 at most gun stores. The AA-12 is not sold to civilians.

Shotguns are generally much weaker. In some places only shotgun hunting is permitted because shotguns have far less range than a rifle but nearly the power within that range. That reduces the risk of stray shots, or something.

The AA-12 firing FRAG 12 is something very special because of its longer range and extraordinarily high power.

i dont know the spas 12 in my opinion is better but this shotgun blows the spas 12 anyday if the target was standing still just look at its kick back it looks accurate but not when your being shaken all over by the recoil

but spas 12 seems better with its burst shot thing so i choose the spas12 because it has less recoil and this gun just looks plain dangerous you could lose a tooth if you place the gun wrong

trust me there is barely any recoil stick your arms out and try to hold something still no matter what your arms will move. also the do to the design of this weapon it absorbs like 80-90% of the recoil
