  • 286awhp we could do it stock turbo tho but need a lot of MOD :) now I have about 270 awhp street tune I have -K&N intake ,injen UICP with evo x j pipe ,stock x LICP ,CXracing 3.5" intercooler ,grimmspeed 3port boostcontroller ,UR cat-back HKS SSQV BOV with recirculate kit and of course with tune :)

  • @KamZ94 here you go; stock motor w/rod bolts, tomei typeR cams, bigger intercooler, intake, hks or synapse bov, atp GTX3076R bolt on turbo, downpipe, hi flow cat or test pipe, catback, 1000-1200cc injectors & intank walbro...or go with 2.3L stroker, tubular manifold (maybe ETS kit) & GTX3582R, 1600cc injectors, intank walbro + bosch 044 inline or double walbro if you dont need a surge tank for hi speed cornering. 4" inlet recommended with garageGT AEM EMS. Also, brakes, suspension and good tires

  • @dbtwrx It lasted for a while until it floated a valve due to his old shop not installing valve springs with cosworth cams. We built the motor, got another 10k miles now, no issue. We built another X for 600HP at the crank, stock motor, will last a while (we ran arp rod bolts, highly recommended !). The motors are strong, but make sure you get it tuned right. NEVER REV PAST FACTORY REV LIMITER, Some idiots rev it to 9000 and bend valves

  • @AndrewMacedonia Haha you can go through a tank in 30 mins :) if you stay out of boost, I would say 200 miles with a full tank (12 or 13lg tank, cant remember) is your range.

  • did you use GT35R on stock internal ? or any mod on manifold and inter cooler ?

  • @canadabuon Yes, it was stock engine, just with camshaft upgrade. But we did one more EVO X and used ARP rod bolts as well. The intake manifold is stock, exhaust manifold is obviously T4 flange long runner tubular twin scroll to work with the twin scroll 35R. Intercooler is also bigger to work well with the bigger turbo.

  • a good turbo system for a turbo gt35 kit is the agency power turbo kit with ams fmic and etc

  • @paulam128 Hardware is worthless is you dont have a good software to run it. We used the ETS turbo kit, custom 4" intake, custom fuel system, and garageGT AEM EMS

  • lol 2 bar stock ? ur dumb as f*ck dude 1 bar is 14 psi and its a lot for stock so 2 is unseen for factory settings on a turbo car, 10 psi is about standard.. but still mazda was geyh enough to put like 7psi on their ealry mazdaspeed models...

  • @computer188 stock boost is not 2 bar, we recommend max of 1.5bar/22psi on stock turbo. People do 28-30 psi on the chassis dyno but power drops when everything gets hot such as race track conditions. This turbo is flowing twice the amount of stock unit at a very efficient spot.

    good observation, he is late to get off the throttle a bit (revs climbing up after clutch disengagement), but this is pretty much how you shift on a cable type EVO tranny unless you want to break it..

  • turboback exhaust, drop in panel filter, upgraded forge turbo actuator, ecu tuning..then aliminum intercooler piping..which should max the turbo output @ 400BHP..

  • @cante199 But I'm glad that Mitsubishi decided to stop working with the Iron block and used Aluminum for the engine this time. Who wants unnecessary weight + rust on their engine? Apparently gaining power on the 4b11 is easier on the 4g63 'cause of the way the 4b11 was tuned stock, runs richer than the 4g63. Saw dynos on the Evo forums of X owners getting 330WHP for a test pipe + reflash, not bad.

  • I am at 286 awhp an my 09 Ralliart (4b11t) from just a tune, The 4b11's just need to be woken up a little thats all...

  • @TuQwik4u Man, lol. I'm not hating on Ralliart 'cause it's a good car for its money. But I don't like how Mitsubishi made the Evolution almost on par with the Ralliarts, especially the new '11 coming up; it's even going to have the Enkeis. I hope that Mitsubishi steps up their game with the Evolutions or no one is going to get it and everyone's going to try going for the Ralliarts. I'm sure your Ralliart is almost hitting 4's for 0-60 if it's near 300WHP.

  • Yeah, seeing how the Ralliart this year is supposed to be even more powerful, all the Evo guys are going crazy. Lol, I would too though. I'll still go for the Evo X, but they better step it up for the '11 X. Maybe a FQ-400 is in call with the current Evo X pricing? :] Lol, I wish.

  • They already have one... The Evo X MR is Dual Clutch + Evo X GSR is the 5SP Manual.

  • @TuQwik4u 286 awhp with just a tune? I owned a Ralliart before I traded it in for my Evo X and I can tell you there is no way you made those numbers with just a flash. Your tuners fluffed those numbers up real good or they had a miracle dyno that increased hp.

  • The 4b11 Evo X has the lighter engine than the 4G63. But the car does weigh more, but kind of makes up for it with more torque than the previous cars, and this engine has better power gains than the 4G63 as the 4B11 runs a bit richer than it should.

  • turbo kit, engine management, tune, fuel system. There is a lot done to this car..

  • We achieved 466WHP @ 24psi with Q16 race fuel. It should do 500WHP @ 27psi.

    You cant use %100 potential of the setup, if you do, there will be problems along with it. We are happy the results, besides this will be a roadrace car, you dont need 500WHP at the track.
