no, no it wasn't. You don't know what you're talking about. The fact that it doesn't have a flashlight and radio doesn't make it a bad Silent Hill game. The essence, the camera angles, the locations, details, art design, ambience were all there, where they all lack in origins and homecoming. although they have the flashligt, radio and town, they're very dull.

I can agree with you there. but silent hill 4 felt as much like a silent hill to me as RE5 felt like a resident evil game. it was a betrayal of the series in my opinion. It was a great game, I cant lie there. but it never felt like a silent hill to me. the music was the only thing holding to the series. trust me if you played this as just " The room" and it didnt have Akira in it, you would not have thought, oh , this is a silent hill game.

All he is basically saying is that Silent Hill 4 was kind of hard. The game was designed to make the player scared and on the edge of your seat. He was happy with the way the characters were in the game. He said that they also studied alot of Japanese horror films to create the ghost creatures that Henry encounters. Although the most popular ghost is Cynthia. The room was originally going to take place in SH but was decided against it. He hopes the players will love it.

I agree with you! By the way, have you observed that SHH is the goriest in the series? For example, if you fail in those quick-time events, you are mutilated! It's gorier than Manhunt! In the hospital scene, when you try to grab Robbie, your hand gets removed! In the police station, if one of those guys with blades instead of heads grabs you, you're cut in half! Man... And Alex's scream in those sequences made me scream as well!!!
