Yes! finally someone aggrees with me! 'God' is not in control. No one's god really is. Whether it be mine or your's. No one or no thing is really in control. Everything just meshes. there is only one thing we can truely control in this world, and thats ourselves. Even then, some people can't control themselves. It's a cruel and cold world.
don't be the one to miss out on his greatness God loves the world he can't control it all, he just promice to take you away from all the suffering to take you to his promice land where there be no hurt, suffering,no such pain..in his kingdom we will glorified in all his riches, and be blessed by the Lord have everlasting life!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! THAT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN....OH MY GOD, A CLIP OF A GAY PRIDE PARADE RIGHT BETWEEN A NAZI CONCENTRATION CAMP AND A GUY HAVING SOME SQUID ROBOT DRILLED INTO HIS HEAD???!!!! WTF!!!...it's a good thing I don't do drugs. What the hell were you guys on? HA HA HA!
The song gives the answer. "I fear no evil, for thou art with me... strong to deliver, mighty to save!" God Almighty is stronger than any evil that can come our way. He can take even the most devastating thing, and turn it around for good.
This is precisely what happened to Joseph in the Bible. Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, but God, after several years of trials, made Joseph a ruler of Egypt. Joseph told his brothers "What you meant for evil, God meant for good!" (Genesis 50:20)
God is greater than evil! God also is not afraid of evil or abuse. He will take it head on. He will not run from it! David ran up to the battle line when facing Goliath, and Jesus Christ faced the most excrutiating death on the cross and embraced it, and did not run! God is not willing to hide from our sufferings! He will take them and give beauty for ashes! No evil is greater than He is! He has the ability to turn evil for good! There is nothing impossible for God! He defeats chaos & evil!
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
God is absolutely amazing :) I love him so much! Igniter Media has amazing videos that make such great points. Everyone of their videos has touched me in some way.
God allows evil in order to bring out greater good. Look at the greatest evil act that ever took place. Jesus, God become man, crucified. Yet out the greatest evil also came the greatest good! Those who searching for the meaning of life, look no further then the cross.
I hate when I hear preahcers say things like "It was the will of God" when they are referreing to tragedy. Tragedy is NEVER the will of God. Or when they say that God "took away" our loved ones who have died. So untrue. Things like that are what make non-Christians want to shy away from God. People need the truth - that the evil in the world is here because humanity brought it here when we sinned. Satan is the cause of suffering in this world. Never our loving God.
Because if God took all the evil out of the world, then we would no longer have any choices. People would no longer have the OPTION to do the wrong thing - and that is what makes us human beings and not robots. God didn't want to create an army of robots who commune with Him only because they have no other choice. He loves us enough to let us choose our own lives. And in order to choose there must be good AND evil.
I agree. They rely on Youtube to provide FREE!!!! promotion of their videos and then slap a watermark all over it. Poor taste. Something less obtrusive is definitely in order. If they are concerned about copy infringement, Youtube's policies are there for that.
God is in control. So why all the suffering? We need to realize the Great Controversy between Christ and Satan. It is the greatest battle of all time, and its taking place right now, over us! It is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and powers of darkness. We need to realize that Satan is the TRUE deceiver and that Jesus Christ ALONE is our ONLY hope and safety in this sinful and corrupt world!
He is coming back soon to take us home. Are our hearts ready?
This is not God, this is evil. People give evil more power, then they give God. God give you a free choice. He gave you control. This is the worlds answer, not God. I am sure God is crying, because he loves os, and only want us to have peace and harmony. God is not evil. God is only love and good. Jesus is our way to be forgiven all evil inside of us, and start a new life.
In spite of the tragedy, the earth is yet full of God's glory. Take a moment to look pass the obvious and enjoy the underappreciated and overlooked...

God gave us all the ultimate gift - freedom of choice. Everyday, we must choose between good and evil in everything we do.
"For we battle not between flesh and blood but rather with the spiritual forces of darkness and evil in this world and in the heavenly realm."
Ephesians 6:12
Choose Truth, Choose Christ.

Tragedy can be the will of God, God allowed Job to go through huge amounts of suffering to bring him closer to Him.

Dont confuse the will of God with the Allowance. God does no evil

Yes, God is in absolute control! Eph. 1:11, Isaiah 46:9-11, Daniel 4:35

Also,
Isaiah 45:7
Deuteronomy 32:39
The LORD Jesus Christ is absolutely sovereign over all things. All that happens brings glory to His name.
May we respond to His grace and patience with repentance and faith and a desire to glorify Him in word and deed.
