@dest1ntheory I would definitely applaud. I liked it better when Buffy was in the child role with Giles as the overall parent. When Dawn came alongm its like Buffy turned into the poster child for had-a-kid-too-early.

truthfully the only reason I watch season 5-7 of Buffy is because of Anya, I didn't really care what was going on with the other characters. If she would have died in an earlier season i would have stopped watching the show
