It's beautiful. While Chanel IS HIGH FASHION, it's also timeless and classic. If you want AVANT GARDE, go see Jean Paul Gaultier or Comme Des Garcons. And to say it's uncreative is ridiculous. Karl's designs are incredible and intricately designed.

Come on! It' s about couture! It is an absolutely wonderfull collection, very "graphique", creates delicates and very modern and poetic silhouette! Love the young idea of the very low waist, love Sigrid Agren look, love the clouds and the cosmic and dreamy vibes in it!

The only thing i didn't like is that the 3:45 model looks dangerously in underweight to me.

I just didn't feel as if I watched a haute couture show. I wouldn't say it was hideous and I enjoyed the show yet I don't feel it was very creative. There were some moments when I felt I watched the same garment but in a different fabric and it felt very much uninspired.

Only Karl Lagerfeld can strip Couture of all the glitter and still call it Couture, of course not everyone can appreciate that art. I feel that when you work with less, the pieces become more noticable in terms of cut and hand stitching. The clothes are also much lighter and wearable. I would hate for the Chanel models to stumble on the runway the way Dior models do when they wear Couture. There's a certain worship for Chanel Haute Couture, you notice it when more women wear it on the red carpet

THAT! is what Chanel has always been about. Giving women the freedom to take the pieces and work them into other past, or future collections whether they are Couture or not. The idea behind Chanel is to disregard the way the clothes are put together on the runway.
