I watch this anytime I'm feeling down, or unsure of myself. Uplifting and true.. not in need of any theatrics or fake aspects. It makes me feel like I can take on any challenge. Video Game music always seems to have a deep impact on me.. over my 30 years, I can always seem to link some kind of significant event to whatever video game music I was thinking of at that time.  Video Games are truly an art that transcends race, creed, sex, and affiliation.

Civilization III is one of my favorite games ever, I kinda prefer the 2d version of the civ franchise but., I hope you get the grammy! It's a wonderful song. Congratulations

I probably clock as many hours leaving the game on the menu just to listen to this as I actually played the game itself. When I launched the game on my PC for the first time many years back, I fell in love with this song right away. I was there listening to the music for a long time while watching the earth turning day and night animation on the menu.

I heard this for the first time in London a few years ago, I think it was the VGL 08 show that they did, it was so good it actually convinced me to buy the game. As barking mad as that sounds.

I didn't realize there were 2 soloists in this. I went to my first Video games live concert and i have to say this song alone was worth buying the CD. I was driving home and it came on. It brought tears to my eyes. The passion you can hear in the singers voices touches my heart. They are amazing. This piece is amazing. Christopher Tin you are genius. These singers are genius. How the heck do i get to be part of the choir in VGL? I miss being in a choir.

@dreammh they pick the orchestra/symphony of the area, when i saw it in NJ, it was the NJ symphony and the Hudson Choir, I forget who it was for the NY show at the beacon, but it was listed as MSG entertainment
