Skinny pigs aren't actually the same as a hairless. Its a common mistake. Hairless dont have that poof of hair on thier nose. But, in a sense they are hairless guinea pigs. They're a cross between a shorthaired and a hairless. :)

Huh that's weird, I've been seeing a lot of Skinny Pigs on here with the pattern like yours, just hair on its nose. I have a breed called a Baldwin that loses hair starting at its nose, then receding to its butt until it loses all hair except on its feet.

its a breed of guinea pig.

theres two types- skinnies and baldwins.

one sort is born hiarless, the other is born really fluffy and looses its hair as it ages =)

normal guineapigs here in the us cost around 27 dollars. i have two, but no skinnypigs.

27 dollars! That's expensive! The most I paid for a guinea pig was 20 euros, but that one was castrated.

Of course you pay more over here (Netherlands) if they are a special breed or something (like a skinny), but 'normal' guinea pigs are like 10 or 15 euros.
