  • Brain how did you connect the different lights you used to the Dou Station??

  • Hey Brian what cam do you use to your vids?

  • And as a follow up, Love all your vids, Very Informative. You can call me out as toolbag though for clicking dislike. Considering switching my lighting to DMX and am kinda afraid to take the jump for due to lack of understanding. You make it look easy, so maybe i will do it sooner than later.

  • Okay, i saw ur video on the dislikes, I was the one that clicked it....... its not really dislike............its jelousy. Great video though!

  • Brian, Why arent you using some software like Martin Lightjockey or freestyler?

  • Interesting video. I was thinking of buying all the same fixture. But I got the RBB 3c controller and found that it did not work on certain lights. So at that point I felt that I would get all the same lights to work with the controller. But it seems now I figure the same controller but different lights from the same company. :)

  • In regards to uplighting such as was used in this video. I think it would be great if you could show a video of how you run all of the cables for these lights, how they connect to each other and their controller, and show you controlling what they can do. Some of the newer DJ's might not know or understand how all this goes together. Thanks and keep up the great videos.

  • Really Really great vid..thx a mill

  • Great video Brian, it looked like you were using the same light everywhere which looked awesome. It's good to know how you integrated the different lights and which controller you were using. Also like that you showed pictures of the controllers and vid from the event to help explain what you were talking about. Nicely done and thanks for all you do for the rest of us!

  • Brian, have you ever used/bought the adj LED Touch controller? I use it all the time and it's fab!!!

  • Very nice video

  • but also like he said they have a mid range bass so if you want bass with a boom a sub is need but that is really users choice

  • I purchased a pair of the rcf 312a my self they may look small but but are loud like brain has said his his review video

  • if you can could you do a video of how you postion the atmospheric rg led that u had on the ceilling

  • Brian, my pars are 5 channel. channel 1 appears to be a sequence, 2,3 and 4 are RGB and 5 is a speed for the sequence. Can i use a 3c controller with these lights?

  • @jazzyjaxroadshow no, yourlights need to have a 3 channel mode

  • @jazzyjaxroadshow very informative and great advice. I've considered including an uplighting package with my DJ pkgs. i am going to buy a duo station and utilize different lighting fixtures as suggested..makes sense!

  • Thanks as always Brian. Hope you're doing well.

  • Great video and I like how you used the different lights in the room to make it work

  • enjoy your videos brain, im glad your doing better! do you stil use the rcf 312a, i own the jbl eon 2 are the 312a a better speaker?

  • @djcruz25 I prefer the RCF's, but JBL makes a nice speaker too

  • Hello Brian

Does apperence count when you set a good lights and Sound for any kind of gig

    is there a standard

  • @lisaart02 I think so. people spend a lot of time & money to make a room look sharp. I feel it's appreciated when we show up with a nice neat looking rig as well

  • Are you also using two of the atmospheric lasers? What kind of speakers are those they look small no offense! Love the lighting btw

  • @MoonlightEntDJ Yes & the speakers are RCF 722A's. See my gig log which is the video before last to answer aLL YOUR QUESTIONS

  • Idk if im out of hand but why did you stop djing clubs? Was it the drama or noise or djing wedding pays more?

  • @iglespepito I love doing clubs, but after the stroke i had in April, something had to give. I will be returning to clubs later on this season after everything else slows down. Just gotta take care of myself and not let this happen again

  • @briansredd i thought you quit doing clubs before th stroke well never mind

  • nice video... i like how the ADJ Mega Tri works Bar...n it's true, having a variety of lights nice advice

  • Thank you Brian!

  • why dont you use subwofer at you gigs it is a better sound. i my time we use cerwin vega bass bottom. a awsome sound power result

  • @lisaart02 : BSR is tired of this question, he's heard it a million times. He has subs, but not every application calls for subs, period. A wedding reception is not a dance club, it's an elegant event. Whether a subwoofer is needed depends on the client. Some wedding receptions I've done, they are like, "Yeah, we want subwoofers, lasers, fog/haze, we want it all, we want a dance club", but others are want more elegant, and don't want big deep bass at their reception...just the way it is.

  • @sleeperawaken36 I actually sold my old Subs and await new ones which are incredibly slow to get here, but in the mean time, these speakers give a really big full sound. I lugged subs around for years and stopped a year ago... and nobody has noticed (or at least they haven't complained) and continue to complement me on my sound

  • i wish i was there doing the gig with you i can learn alot

  • how did you go out from each side of the dj booth? will a simple dmx cable y splitter work? or do you have a powered dmx splitter box?

  • @djmarkcotter No, i don't think that works. We ran a long dmx cable out of the controler to the first light on the cream wall to the left, then started the chain

  • The uplighting looked great and thanks for letting us in on what fixtures you used and why, very informative!

  • I learn Something NEW every time I watch your YouTube Channel!!

    Thanks For Your Tips Brian!!!

  • nice, but how much you get usualy paid to afford such expensive products?

  • @VJbasti That uplighting job was $500

  • Great content! I totally agree with having a diverse collection of up lights.

  • EXCELLENT thoughts BSR :) well done mate

  • nice job brian almost felt like you should have been playing the mission impossible theme behind that video :-)

always like doing upligting as it looks more elegant for a wedding than a ton of truss over teh stage but gives the same effect on the dance floor also give you the chance to have some nice mood setting kinda lights on during the meal it kinda gives people the idea there is gonna be a party and puts them in the mood but befor the entertainment starts
