  • Can I get skis that use a pattern to tour and go up hill but use bingings like these and have more fun on the down hill? what skis do you reccomend?

  • @bskalak22 skis with a pattern are fine for going slowly uphill... but if you want something fun to ski down hills with then you need a skating ski!! 10-15cm shorter than your height is a good fun length.

  • Hi! Cool Video!!)) I like this ski)) Look our))

I hope to see you future)) & skiing together ;)

  • It's about time, making x-country skiing look cool and radical. Trust me, me and my friends had our share of ooohhs and ahhhs just like you guy's but hey it's all in the name of fun. Thanks for the good clips.

  • this video is awesome! makes you wanna go skiing right away! ...and thats what i'm going to do now :) next time i go to aus, i'll definetly try out falls creek!

  • you poor bastards with no snow!...good control of those skinny sticks though :)

  • looks hard

  • great place to ski

  • You guys look like fun. Come play in the states sometime. Never grow old (maybe up, but not old!)

  • What kind of binding setup are you using? SNS BC? NNN BC? Great video guys!

  • SNS PILOT

  • It is not about binding :-)

  • AWESOME VIDEO! Great music, great skiing.

  • i cant wait for this winter to go skiing... ive been skiing my whole life but ive never tried doing that i hopefully will get a chance this year... great video

  • dam, that looks so dam fun =)

its autumn right now, cold dark but no snow, cant w8 to get the skies on.

last winter was a big disappointment (no snow) even though i live in Sweden

  • Yep that's correct. regular old skate skis here- racing type or 'fun' model.

  • uhhh.... how are those not cross country skis?

  • Those aren't true cross-country skis though. They have blades. The ones I have can only go straight. Makes it a bit more challenging. lol.

  • well actually they're cross-country skating skis! just a normal xc ski without the pattern under the foot, and a little shorter and stiffer as well. the only thing we've modified is the bindings (check out the 'weetbix preview/rails on xc skis' clip from about 5yrs ago).

  • Oh, it looks like your able to turn pretty well though. On my xc's I have to "step turn" to change direction. Interesting. Thanks for the clarification.

  • I was at Falls Creek for the hoppet in this year! I remember it was awful, we had to hike up for like a kilometre to get to the snow. And they had to make a new course for the hoppet higher up.

Was an awesome day in the end though

  • whatever floats your boat.

  • haha YEAH DUDE! that was sick!

  • Yeaaah, cool!! I wanna some snow!!! :-(((

  • Greetings from Alaska, you dudes down under can ski the skinny boards!! Cool videos! Damn, I gotta eat more FrootLoops!!!!

  • yeah... it's all in the cereal!!!!

  • I just put up a new skiing video on my YouTube account. See my featured video. You can see what crust skiing in Alaska is like. Next year when we start eating Fruitloops the skiing will be even more amped up!

  • cool, looks like some good terrain. yeah, a good diet high in sugar is important!!!

  • Fucking wicked! You guys know how to ski

  • u guys suck

  • you got anything better to show ??
