  • how can I record this sound?

  • sounds nothing like it

  • @SystemBIeed only because it needs heavier distortion and some more low mids in the EQ... if you know what to look for as a starting place then you know that the synth patch he makes is pretty dead on

  • Look up Omnitica, he uses FL studio and is one of the best dubstep artists in my opinion.

  • Any one know where to get this plug in?

  • @kamo731 google it and choose the one from rapid4all, worked for me!

  • @kamo731 pirate bay or any other torrent site

  • @FeelingFeline Amen..

  • Everyone stop hating FL studio, you wouldn't believe how many top artists use it like High Rankin for example.

  • People hate on FL because of its past. It used to be a child's toy. Now it's a professional music producing program that even DEADMAU5 uses.

  • @Elliptisoar deadmau5 doesnt use it anymore, but fl studio is a awesome producing software( btw i use ableton xD)

  • whats the instrument called

  • Shit tutorial, have to pause to much and can barely see your oscillator levels, buy a mic

  • @KyleMarnoProducer its called using fullscreen dumbass

  • @ZeusAlvarado2009 on an ipod touch ?

  • screw you i got fl studio!

  • Comment removed

  • @mutinkiller Dude, he is using an instrument FOR FL. *facepalm*

  • what program?

  • I call this bass : YOIIIIIIIIII ! :)

  • Might sound dumb, but everytime I open Sylenth1 up, it's always got some weird sounding instrument on, how do I get the menu and stuff in the middle of the screen? Mine is just stuck saying: About and parameter. help please!?

  • <3

  • @dubrobotic you're right :)

  • What song is that? The one you played

  • its much easier to make this sound using NI Massive

  • @MrPoptarts420 i love the sylenth interface compared to massive. masive is massive though! anyone know how to tweak the gui for sylenth?

  • how do you get logic for windows?

  • @Djc00lness Not... You need a Mac :)

  • @VidozMusic awww man, any other programs that create the same sound ? fr windows? lol

  • @Djc00lness Fruity Loops Studio is a great program ;)

  • @VidozMusic i have that, it wont make human sounds lol

  • @VidozMusic No, it's the best :)

  • @Dubstep1nvasion Agreed ;)

  • @VidozMusic yup it is .. i don't get it why people say that it sucks ... it's a daw equally good as anything else ... It's not the program, it's the producer !!!

  • @BelgianGanjaSmoker Exactly :D

  • @Djc00lness Cubase could work for you, I've got a lot of friends who make this kind of stuff that prefer Cubase over Logic.

  • Awesome. Great tutorial!

  • plzz upload the preset

  • is that dan le sac and scroobius pip in the picture?

  • this tune is drumstep, not dubstep

  • @YouriSMusic so its still sounds sick

  • not exactly. But close!

    Great Tutorial man!

  • @yourcravingit tell me how to make dubstep in photoshop please?

  • What program?! I must know how to make dubstep..

  • @MrSenseofReason Any, you can make dubstep in any software.

  • @MrSenseofReason download cubase

  • @MrSenseofReason

This is on Logic but you can use any DAW like Fl Studio, Cubase, Ableton, Reason, etc. the synth they're using here is called Sylenth1

  • @Jacob15728

you can't use sylenth in Reason.

  • what do you start with? i dont have a 66 init

  • @g00607978 all the init ones are the same...blank. click menu and then click init preset

  • Looks like logic 9 I am guessing worth a mac book I think me I am on the PC so I move with as many VSTs as possible -- sounds like you are using a talk box-- the sound is bad ass I will say.

  • I am so close to getting this sound on the es2 (along with the auto-filter) in Logic but I don't understand the 'Part B' bit at 1:39. That completely loses me.

  • MDA Degrade can be used as well. you want to change the sample rate, not the bit rate. Or DBlue Crusher

  • MDA Degrade can be used as well. you want to change the sample rate, not the bit rate.

  • Can you make a tutorial of the high pitched wobble as well? That shit is hot!

  • Is there possible for you to upload a preset of this?

I am doing everything your doing at this video, but it just wont work....

Tried several times, it wont work...

  • save this as a preset and upload plzz

  • @MrLeeski1 He just showed you how to do it yourself...

  • What are the odds? My name is TEAM ArCADE too!

  • Accually, Your not the first person to make a tut on this sound...If You look up a Guy Named IVTheFourth....He Made A Much Better Sounding one On Sytrus...Yours is still good though....

  • Thanks man, i found your videos really useful, much appreciated

  • Nice job, Team AirCADE.

  • how do you make that high pitched wobble after vocal bass?

  • what is the video youre using?

  • what software is this?? :O

  • @xpunk22 Sylenth1, but don't think it will make music by itself ;)

  • @xpunk22

    software is logic pro

    plug in is sylenth1

  • this sounds good and all, but im still a fan of the NI Massive plugin

easier and the sound is a little cleaner which makes my wobble dirtier

  • pls flp tc_lpool@freemail.hu

  • needs a redux lol

  • can make better in fl...

  • I Don't have the "1" "2" "3" "4" at the menu, how come?

I cannot import a other sound into sylenth1, only the ones who are in there

from 1 to 1 hundred somewhere.

    please help me, Thanks allot!

  • @DutchMonsta you need the full version

  • Comment removed

  • Yoooy yoy yoy yooooyyyy wub wub wub - sexy

  • turn the resonance to half, set a lfo on the filter and set as an after efect a bitcrusher

  • any chance u cud make a preset of this for download?

  • great tut, thx... i have one question tho... how do people figure out how to make these strange sounds on their own? lol

  • @PiIIbug most cool things come from nothing simpler than....experimenting.

the downside is, it takes time. and sometimes u create something cool by accident and forget how u made it. can be frustrating lol

  • Can anyone explain how to install it on logic?

  • another song you can hear the voice saying "yeah" in is "bassnectar - bass head"

  • This is great but you should really slow down and either annotate or say what you're doing, it's really hard to follow along with what you're doing...

but beggars can't be choosers thanks for putting this up :D

  • Can anyone tell me how to make this on FL Studio? It'd be very much appreciated.

  • @AppleMustHateMe - you should probably learn on something a little better than fruityloops. because you will be ditching it after awhile anyway once you know how to use it.

  • @es696 I bought Ableton Live's Intro package, but i got FL Studio XXL Pro Edition from a friend shortly after buying it. I thought there'd be more availabilities on XXL Pro than an intro package so i tried using that. I do see your point tho, i've always heard of people starting on FL then moving on to better things.

  • @es696 true ableton and logic sound so fucking good ableton doesnt out of the box but if you set the settings riight you can get that same crystal clarity you get in logic in ableton just the same. i've been meaning to expand my logic skills but since i've got years investedin ableton already i figurd better to be master of one than average with 2 daws. beginners mistake is often trying to learn many things at once and not fully learning each thing

  • could you upoad a sylent1 preset?

  • This sound is being so overused in dubstep now, kudos for showing people how it's done though

  • can anyone tell me how to make this sound using reason 4 PLEASE!!!!

  • @DEATHbyCAI make a wah bass with fuckloads of resonance and then bitcrush it to fuck. enjoy

  • yooooy =))That what makes me love dubstep

  • @Rezzidex Its also like 200$.

  • i love this sound <3

  • this is good but how do you get it to wobble continous

  • @wooow091 an lfo.

  • crucial now if i could only do that with lmms id be in business

  • What version is that?

  • sounds like Satan kinda :P

  • great thanks. sylinth best filters out there...

  • This is awesome, thanks :)

  • hei man.download to project flp.

  • @edinhomvhamas you telling me to upload the fruity loops file? lol. Im on logic.

  • @fstball4110 double lol. F.L.P = Fucking Logic Pro.

  • @fstball4110 save your made options in sylenth1 presets and send him the preset...lol

  • @fstball4110 nice one^

  • @fstball4110 LOL fruity loops

  • Can this prog be used in Fruity Loops?

Aaand Fuck, this sounds so sick! ^^

  • Can this prog be used in Fruity Loops?

  • does anyone know how much this program costs?

  • @jaydubs19208 On the Apple site its about 500quid... depends where you get it from I suppose but expect around that price!

  • where can i get this vst you are using,,plz

  • @LyripsBeatzOfficial its called sylinth 1 - its about 180 euro - check web: lennardigital

  • haha sick, ill be using this, looks like you can speak dubstep ;)

  • this ain't even close to what you can do with NI Massive. But I didn't even find the downsample on sylenth, thanks!

  • Haha I love the song you play before the tutorial...what was that song? :O and again, you've earned yourself a subscriber. I hope to see more Dubstep tutorials in teh future :D

  • Is this only possible on sylenth 1?

  • @CradeonOfficial

No all you need is a wobble and a bit crusher dude. and a bit of filtering

  • "As of now, I am the first person to make a tut on this sound."

Well I guess I'm the second cause I am covering this in part 3 of my Ableton dubstep series.

    Great tutorial dude, thanks!

    Eartrash

  • hey man could you upload the preset i would really apretiate it or atleast just send me it thanks :P pm me if u need my email thanks

  • @chokerjoker4 just fucking copy what the guy did? how lazy are you, man?

  • @UberAlbal Thanks! haha :P

  • @UberAlbal to be honest very lazy and dont have alot of time for sound design, kinda busy so id rather just have the sound and not need to make it so i can spend my time making the actual music.... just saying, :P

  • @chokerjoker4 well, one of the biggest aspects of electronic music making, is to get to know your synths, so you actually know how to use them and what they are capable of. and anyway, you shouldn't jsut copy what you see in tutorials on youtube. you should make your own sound, using this video as inspiration

  • @UberAlbal i did :P

  • @UberAlbal copying what other people do is exactly how you learn what your synths can do.

once you've mastered what other people do, you change them to make them even more filthy XD

  • found out how to do same thing on toxic biohazord :D

  • @themuffintree101 Nice! can you tell me how plz? :P

  • thanks for these dude i just got sylenth1 and i'm figuring it out quick thanks to you

  • if you have ableton all you gotta do is throw in a saw bass or whatever bass you intend on using, go to the audio effects, click redux, and choose 1 of the following from the drop down box, and your set to go on a professional sounding "yaw", after tweeking it out a bit. took me 2 hours to figure it out after installing ableton. cheers.

  • Really really good man! Been dying to figure that sound out for a while now..

I've found, after copying this tutorial, if you root the filter cutoff for A and B to the lfo and bring filter A's cutoff to zero and the lfo gain all the way to 10 you can just play with the rate and the lfo does the rest :-)

    YOY!

  • hillarious.

  • glad to see you using sylenth, also agree on adding sugarbytes as well and syncing it to your LFO speed in sylenth, it will give you even more of the vowel/vocal formant sound

  • ur da best

  • Yes Think you.... but I have found SugarBytes 'WOW'.. simple formant filter

  • @Hurley0887 what is the SugarBytes filter?

  • @fstball4110 Its a paid ripoff version of dblue Glitch, Glitch is free though.

  • Comment removed

  • not even close dude.

  • @sighwonder What does this mean? Can you do better?

  • thanks for the tut I've been looking into creating these type of sounds

  • what program did u use?

  • you are the man haha

  • If i'm using slylenth 1 in logic pro 9

How do I record the cutoff changes?

If I hit record and manually change the cut off, the recording just records the constant key tone?

    Thanks!

  • yoooy wubwubwubwub xDDDDDD

  • so now..instead of all my dubstep tunes going "wub wub wub wub" they go "Yoooy wub wub wub Yooooy wub wub wub wub"

  • @UO777TDWP YES! haha

  • Dope. It sounds tighter/focused on the track but yea good job. Alot of producers are using the sample cd that the sound came from. It's a collection of basses, leads and pads all with that bit crushing vocoded sound. Been used too much I'm staying away from it. Good tutorial tho. Nicer synth. For some reason I haven't heard of that one. Gonna have to pick it up.

  • how would you accomplish this in reason 4.0? I kiiiinda get it but dont.

  • @imjohnnymoscow All it is is a white noise wave... with a decimator (or a bitcrusher). On reason you probably have a plugin called bitcrusher or something that lowers the bit rate of your sound. Then filter it and cum your pants

  • @fstball4110 how do you go about that last part exactly?

    :p

  • so glad u made this - been looking for it everywhere and its impossible to find since i had know idea as to what the name of the bass was

  • just a quick 1 mate u can get the YOY perfectly by assigning an LFO at 1/2 on the wave table setting on M-TALK on MASSIVE spread it across the whole wave table setting and hit c2

    p.s great vid love sylenth

    CrazyBoy sam

  • NICE ONE!!

  • this helped me out a lot man thanks a lot. i been looking for this shit!!!!!

  • mate can u do a tut on the synth bass str8 after the voice?

  • do you no how to do the other wobble thats in that track??

  • does sylenth work on pc/fruity loops

  • @sSL1MZz you bet

  • WOW. i've been listening to this song since the inspector upped it. this is amazing. you are very talented

  • can u put the download link for the vst?like the dll file please!!

  • nice! now i need to try and recreate that with Reason 4

  • can you do a tut for the wobble sythn after the voice wobble

    that would be amazing

  • @JustinMPerea thanks. If I have time tomorrow than sure thing. (that is if I can recreate a sound that heavy!!)

  • @JustinMPerea I found time. Posting now.

  • omg

    i fell in love
