  • Ohh I love this book every other day of school i make one of her recipes for lunch :)

  • I amhappy for the mother ^^

  • it was fun to watch :)

  • some take "a little more time" yeah...2 hours =_=

dont forget washing the dishes and clearing the food and all

same here, i dont like the host, but hey its 6:51

  • I wish my mom was like her :3

  • hawaii for the winner ;DDDDDDDD

  • such a good mom :D

  • The only saving grace that host has is that she didn't butcher the Japanese R when she said "nori"

  • I have real Japanese bento on my page too if you guys like bento, check it out! haha

  • the host is bitch!

  • Wow the host knew what edamame was

  • I dunno how much time moms these days have on their hands, but I was lucky if I got my mom to shove a pbj and a juice box into my bag!!

  • Hawaii ??

  • @Torres910Sneijder They are from hawaii and you can see the tropical theme on the front of the book. Its a play on the japanese word kawaii meaning cute.

  • I can't imagine regular picky american kids would enjoy toasted nori.. I'm gonna weene my kids into my favorite foods fast cause I want to make them bento lunches when I have them someday..

  • i need that book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The lunches looked so cute! My little sister is a very fussy eater, for example will only eat toast if it's cut into a certain shape. I'll have to see if she'll like bento. :)

  • The host seems not so interested in Bento -__-*...

  • @EmoAliKat you are right,,not nice at all

  • @EmoAliKat Everyone is bitching about the host, I don't get it. She's doing her best to make the information clear for the viewers, and the host is on a time limit and has to keep things moving through the show. I'm sure the author was thrilled to have that good advertising.

  • make me a sandwich

  • I dont have cute bento like these, but i have real Japanese bento on my page if you guys wanna check them out!

  • im hungry ! ahahahaha....

  • oh my gosh im so jealous!!

  • asians are hawt....i am one!!!!

  • i wish she was my mom.

  • OMG! i've wanted that book for such a long time!

  • me too!!

  • i hate wen hosts suck xDD..

i love bentos :P.. they r interesting, cool, and look great! :D.. imma start making them ^^

  • i use to cookie cutters and make cute sandwhiches when my son was lil his teacher thought they were cute lol

  • I hope when I have kids, I have time to make super cute lunch! If my mom did this for me, I would have eaten healthier and also, kids would love to eat lunch with me to see the cute design! But you may have to lay off the cute animals for a boy of a certain age, huh?

  • @quitejaded, they have pokemon bento boxes & they make masculine themed boxes for grown men too. I think its just supposed to be an effort of love to make lunch very convenient for the eater. Fish & frog shapes, I have seen some silly bento. Look them up on youtube, some amazing food art out there.

  • I don't like the host

she's always cutting her off and sounding like she doesn't regard the love of putting together a kawaii bento for your kids as something appreciative.

  • @kary213 It seems like a lot of news hosts are like that to me...

  • @kary213 ya the host didnt seem very interested at all... like she didnt respect her... but alot of news people are like that :( but those bentos are so cute!

  • @kary213

    American

  • @kary213, In America you'll find many professional women with an abrupt attitude. Its not meant disrespectfully. Its meant to show efficiency & to portray a 'no nonsence' attitude. Unfortunately to someone who doesn't delve into the meaning behind the clipped comments: it comes off as bitchy.

  • @kary213 i don't think she's cutting her off. Its a style of creating a conversation between a guest, in which she has an interesting question or point-outs that needs to be delivered and to make it look and sound interesting with the viewers. I want you to imagine if the host only talks at first and then let the guest do the talking for the rest of the 3minutes, how would it be? The guest already is the star, what the host did is to create a conversation :) cheers!

  • itZA HEALTHY AND DELICOUSOUS! muahahah bla efefi

  • i thought it was just japanese people that eat out of bento lunch i usually see it in anime shows .

  • Bento came from Japan, but it has recently became quite popular in the USA. Heck, they are even available now in Europe, if you know where to look ;)

  • Where do i look!? i live in Europe! plz tell ^_^ thanks a bunch

  • Well, i bought my bento box in a supermarket for 1 euro (or something like that). Maybe you know the shop, it' Kaufland. But i know they are also available in Tesco and other mib supermarkets. Also, you can buy quite a lot of accessories on local markets. Just look around for a bit and i'm sure you'll find something (oh, and in my country the boxes don't go by the name 'bento', but simply Breakfast boxes, or lunch boxes. Hope this is helpful for you :)

  • no asians in general do~ and she's japanese I think. She pernounces bento and nori correct ~

    (hawaii has alot of japanese)

  • everyone pronounces japanese words correctly here. 75 percent if not more of our population is asian.

  • wow im getting a bento box

  • @NoodlezFreak9 no you arent

  • I have to get that book! Thanks for sharing^__^

  • I LOVE BENTOS...some of this stuff looks really complicated but it looks awsome XD
