OMG! I am so sick and tired of people blaming all of Serena William's losses on injury. It is getting so old and pathetic now. MOST of the time Serena fakes her injuries so she doesn't have to take her game too seriously or uses it too boycott on smaller events. You can't blame everything on injury for god's sakes. Henin won those matches fair and square, deal with it.

The first match I ever saw was one of Venus's in the 2007 Wimbledon, and ever since then I've been a tennis fanatic. 1. Serena has a winning record over Justine, even with those 3 consecutive wins. So even though Justine was "better" than Serena that year, Serena still had so many victories over her previously.

Venus is 6'2 and hasn't won a slam in over 2 years. Maria is 6'3 and a total scrub. And Justine has not beaten the Williamses "so many times." Thank you for being honest here about Henin's size. She had to play tremendous tennis to make up for that disadvantage. I doubt any of the other top players would have succeeded without their great height and strength the way she did.

My 2 cents: Serena was always going to be the favorite on a fast court, this is undeniable. Who is the better tennis player though? It depends on how you define greatness I suppose.

whats really intesting though is that serena's last four or five grand slam wins have come when justine was not playing the tournament. say what you want but that means something. venus and justine are the only people that can truly trouble serena when shes at her best. serena IS physically the strongest girl on tour. no doubt. justine is only 5'6" which puts her at a severe disadvantage. serena at her best is her pounding the ball without hesitation and its hard to beat that.

I agree that Serena is the best player ever, the FGOAT (Female Greatest of all time). One thing you should mention is that when Serena was at her best and Justine was at her best, Justine could never beat her. It is true that Justine could ever be considered better than Serena b/c Justine lost at so many finals and not winning consistently. Serena has only lost at a Final once, in 04 Wimbly. But I think people realize that Serena is the best player ever.
