Only thing that sucks is the weird user interface... I wonder what`s wrong with the max design´s designing. Same thing with Burntime: good game, poor UI.
Another thing in 1869 that bugs me are the random encounters (being robbed and stuff). In the beginning of the game it basically means game over (load and save and load and save). I think the game would be better balanced if it was slightly easies with saving opportunity only once a year (for example).
The country's political situation was listed in the country's profiles. Such as "stable" and unrest, countries that are unrested are generally anti foreign, and the country is fucked up, and thus they have like crazy terrorist revolutionaries stealing your shit.

Ein echt schöne Wirtschaftssimulation. Habe ich damals stundenlang gespielt. Die Musik ist erstklassig.
