  • Awesome, can't believe it's NES, it's so much detailed

  • 熟悉的音樂~

  • Dangit, I don't what to get. Either Duodecim or this---(someone stole my old NES and this game awhile ago) Aaargh! What to do!!! I only got 30 or so pounds on me!DX And I want both!

  • The DS version of this is great to listen to, but I have an easier time respecting this cause here they had to find a way to make it sound good within NES limitations and they succeeded.

  • いいねー!!

  • @midoriunsou No body can do that

  • It's a good song and all but the popping in the tune gets a bit annoying

  • 8 bit ftw!

  • @FluffyPinkFlamingo He has two swords, only Firion can do so. Plus the sign on the upper left says FFII.

  • @Deschist look at bottom right

  • @Deschist Oh its a he. I thought it was a she.

  • @Deschist no it says III. It's Onion Knight.

  • @FinalFantasyEssence Actually, that's not even a character. Yoshitaka Amano drew many pictures of this unnamed warrior as part of concept art for FFIII. That's why in Dissidia 012 Onion Knight's third costume makes him helmetless with white spiky hair and black armor, to match the Unnamed Warrior.

  • @EndreVanan That, and further proof is that the two swords this Unnamed Warrior wields are the swords that Onion Knight wields in his Ninja EX-Mode, and the yellow one is his default.

  • @crapheadandidiot Plus, the pose that Onion Knight ends with after his Ninja EX-Burst "Back-Attack" is the same pose as the Unnamed Warrior in this picture.

  • @Deschist The image is rather low quality, but if you look hard enough you can see three I's in the logo.

  • Why is the picture Firion since this FFIII?

  • @Deschist It's not, but it's never really apparent who the character on the box is. I think he looks a bit like Luneth from the DS remake though :P

  • Onion Knights, attack!!

  • 8 bit!

  • An Oldie but goodie

  • A lot of things are imagined though the 8bit music is simple.

  • Too bad it's not the version that actually ends with the victory fanfare.

  • Super Smash Bros for the NES!

  • damn that protagonist looks awful

  • @boitahaki lol those black lips aren't really working for anyone are they?

  • I thought this was only for SNES and DS....

  • @Delfino224 Its a NES game never released on america(until the DS remake), The FF3 we got is FF6 actually

  • @gregar12 I know we didn't get it but i thought this was on the SNES. hmmm... idk why they would be dumb enough not to call FFVII "FFIV" though. Well at least it it got us some of the old games.

  • @Delfino224 That was FF6 and it was only for SNES GBA and PS1.

This is FF3 the real one only for the NES(J) and DS.

Just like FF2 SNES is not the real FF2 for the NES but aleast Square thought about releasing it in the US there is a unreleased US Prototype but i would go with the FF2 on PSP or original Ps1 will work but Don't ever try it on GBA.

  • @2010gaje Ok,why is GBA bad?

  • @Delfino224 Its not meant to be on the GBA the sound is not as good as the other ports some graphics were changed like the Emperor on the GBA vs PS1 PSP and IPhone.

If you want a better port the IPhone or PSP is the best choice ps1 is OK but you should never resort to the GBA collection(FF1 and FF2).

I plan to get the PSP ports of FF1 and FF2 at some point.

Also not only does the PSP and IP have sharper graphics but updated translation and music is included.

  • @2010gaje Ok,Perfect,I have a PSP. Now to get a card for the money.

  • @Delfino224 Alright enjoy the game!

  • @2010gaje Ok,thanks!

  • WHERE CAN I GET IT???

  • This was so hard on the DS. I keep dying at the Doga Unne battle. :(

  • Check out my version of this great song. Tell me if you like it.

    watch?v=a1K3pwmmWlA

  • I like this, it has a simplicity to it that makes it sound as good as the updated version!

  • I like this one more than the DS version. The DS version has superior instrumentals, but this one has a certain charm the new version can't replicate.

  • @knowwhoiamyet lol close but youve got it reversed. the pokemon games remind me of this xD

  • @knowwhoiamyet

Those early pokemon games were kickass though.

  • @knowwhoiamyet when i play this (or the new ds version) I actually turn on my GBC with pokemon red ( lv 100 cubone charizard raichu gyarados dragonite mewtwo machamp alakazam) turn off FF's sound and listen to the song that plays when you fight the elite four's lance. imo it fits just as well, sometimes even better.

  • @knowwhoiamyet I hate you

  • @LimeMiiQ Because you're a hater xD

  • @knowwhoiamyet same, they seemed to have a nes vibe to them

  • @knowwhoiamyet Looks like everyone likes you now.

  • @lolrar Looks like it. I certainly didn't expect this kind of response xD

  • For some reason, i find the NES version better than the DS remake... Prolly cause i've beaten that one and the DS version is like 95% the same...

  • FF3 (NES) really outdone itself music wise. I think if it wasn't for this particular theme, most of the new ff music wouldn't have existed..... :)

    truly awesome music

  • nice track indeed

  • Even though the DS version sounds more epic, this version is waaaay more catchy.

  • it feels so great to hear this song in final fantasy III either DS or NES

i find both GREAT. i even prefer it more than the boss music

  • this is my favorite Final Fantasy! :D

  • this is my third favorite just because of the awesome music. the music in this game breathes life into it. my favorite is V

  • @spirit2fusion Almost nobody knows about it! But its my favorite one. I wish they had released this one back when the nes was new(in america). I wouldve played it as a kid, and loved it for even longer!

  • @gmrpg2 Well, by the time it could've gotten translated and given an international release, the SNES had already been introduced. No point in releasing another game for an outdated system.

  • @spirit2fusion It was my favorite until 13. I know im gonna get shit for saying that lol ><

  • @Clesarie this game introduced me to the world of emulation. So it'll forever have a place within my heart. Not 100% sure if it's still my absolute favorite, but it's definitely the most special and nostalgic for me.

  • @spirit2fusion That's crazy, it's the first game I ever used an emulator for and the first final fantasy game I ever played. Sorry, just thought that was a pretty odd coincidence.

  • @adrian2695 ahhh awesome!! :D

  • @Clesarie I honestly give you props for saying that. Not many people actually like it or at least admit to liking it. I personally loved FF13 and am pre-ordering FF13-2 Collector's Edition today, hopefully. Gotta appreciate the 8-bit soundtracks, though. So much better than most of the new soundtracks just because they did so much with so many limitations.

  • @Pr0udDragon They were good when they have a limit of thing...Now it's like it's become...barg

  • @SuperNintendomaniac I know what you mean, but I have to respectfully disagree. I grew up playing the NES and there's just so much nostalgia for me that I can't think much bad about the music that the games had (granted, some had better music than others).

  • omg 8bit ff music is awesome =o

  • Thanks so much for uploading this theme. I've been looking for the NES version of this song for a long time and now finally I can listen to it. xD

    Thanks again.

  • haha, yep, thats the reason i put it up in the first place. couldnt find the nes version, only the FF6 version, or FF3ds one :(

  • Yeah, That's the one I kept finding or the one for the DS version. I just wanted to listen to it in it's 8-bit glory. =P

that's the only true way to listen to it, in my opinion.

  • @amulpokh THANK YOU. This version is fucking awesome. The DS remake sucks the big one.

  • @lazyvideogamer me tooo ¬¬

  • Its a battle theme, not boss theme XPP

  • This battle theme is so kickass and nostalgic!!!
