I have no idea why, but I remember watching this video as a kid (late 80's-early 90's). I've never been nor heard of Santa's Village, but I think it must have been on the end of a VHS tape or something. It is rather sketchy in retrospect. And I don't know why I never questioned why there was a rail holding the reindeer on their perspective track.... ... Loves it though. I asked my Mother, and she has no idea why I remember this video. (Mr. Ferocious Wolf = the best)
If you or anyone you know is interested in learning about the behind-the-scenes goings on of the old Santa's Village, feel feel to check out my new book - it makes a great X-mas gift! SANTA'S VILLAGE GONE WILD! (available on amazon)

Whoa. Just who is in charge of driving the train? Could it be the White Rabbit? And what's REALLY going on in that treehouse? 'HI MR. BUNNY' didn't we think it was a bit creepy even when we were kids? Great stuff!
I remember these, my gods, I never thought I'd see it again after the VHS kicked the bucket. The only thing was on the VHS there was this really *messed up* version of Frostie the snowman, which I think was silent... This is hilarious blast from the past XD
Wait, both Santa and Merlin...K. Gordon Murray...say, by any chance was this made by the same people who made the Santa Claus movie that got the MST3K treatment? (Let me clarify, the one that was called simply Santa Claus.)
Also, are these the same people who did Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny?
This tape was a huge part of my life. I am 20 years old and I have to watch this tape every year or it DOES NOT feel like Christmas, thanks for posting this.
OMG - I remember going to the one in Skyforest when I was a little kid in the 1970's - the Jack-in-the-box gave me nightmares for weeks, it was soooooo creepy!
I remember that place! I loved it as a kid. We went alot while it was still open and my friends and I still visit from time to time since we live nearby the CA site
WOW iam in 7th grade i never heard about this i decided to do a project on it and it is very interesting does anyone know like how it is not opened now
geminixtwinsx88, I don't know why this went under, I can only say the econ. or bad management. I remember the park being very old and falling apart and it seems like no one cared. After it shut down, we had some raves their and then it was turned into a logging camp. If you drive past the one in California you can still see some of the buildings and make out where somethings were.
I actually have the original only home release with the sleeve to this movie on vhs good times 1990 it is incredibly rare hard to find i may auction it one day i just watched it with dis ho ho ho da other day mint condition fuck it make an offer for it on you tube'but you will have to cashout very rare!
Yeah computee, I have the same video tape (purchased by mistake thinking it was something entirely different).
Its one of the most insane things I've ever seen.
I think that because it was originally recorded in Spanish and only 1 track that the English version had to loose the original dialouge and music so the English version adds a new dimension of LSD like drama
"Thanta? Thanta? The kidth are here you thilly goothe!"
Merlin:"Santa? What're you doing?"
Santa:"Something I should've done -cocks shotgun- a long time ago!"
Merlin:"Whe...what did you do with the other four reindeer?"
Oh, man. At 4:11, I bust out laughing. The mood's so ominous that it makes me wonder what Jack did wrong to anger Santa. "Stop In The Holy Name of Santa!"
I actually had to go on yahoo questions to find out the name of this movie, but I used to have it on VHS as a kid. Man, the memories are flooding back!!!
Holy s%^&t. This print is so much better looking than the one Something Weird ran on their On Demand section last year. Nothing against Something Weird, of course, but wow!
looks like someone was attempting Disneyland with a Christmas theme. I mean, the "Santa's Magic Kingdom" font looks like the Disneyland font even. Looks like a cute park though
creepy
