  • I'm going to find a person why fucks with you and ask him not to respond to his haters (you) because apparently, it makes sense.

  • My first time watching you. Good review

  • Here's my backlash review: THE CROWD WAS SHIT.

Far too many of the usual assholes cheering the heels, especially the queer bald couple in the front row left and the afro crazy hair spic front row right (how do these BOISTEROUS ASSHOLES always get front row tickets?). Too many twenty-something assholes cheering Orton and the asswipes who sang the "goodbye" chant when HHH was knocked out. The bald queer in the grey t-shirt was jeering Steamboat when he got his round of applause. Shit crowd.

  • I thought the goodbye thing to HHH was hilarious. Other then that yeah the crowd was shit.

  • I might have laughed myself if I wasn't already po'd. Raw's crowd was good.

  • You shouldent have music in the background

  • wats wit the music kinda annoying

  • Like the way you have the old them of Orton in the back ground. I did not see the ppv,but from the vids i have seen already.sounds like the ppv was good, even some gave it an...8.0,wich could be overatted btw, good video.

  • burn in my light , lol

  • why does nobody mention the fight inthe crowd between the fans

    it was sick

  • Really? That kind of thing is bound to start happening with all the BOISTEROUS ASSHOLES who insist on showing off by cheering the heels and trying to rile everybody up.

I don't want to see fights in the crowd at wrestling shows but I would laugh if one of those "look at me I cheer the heels" types got smacked.

  • ok if they're cheering a heel like jack swagger or santino marella or other people who have little or no talent, but if they're cheering a heel like edge who has a lot of talent but isnt allowed to use it that is fine in my book

plus i was cheering edge over cena

but the fight was a little stupid for reasons I agree with you on

it was interrupting the hardy's i quit match

the entire place had little kids all over it

and they were probably completely buzzed

one kid got thrown into a rail

  • at least it was 5x better than mania.

  • Its Deff a new era of Wwe idk what u c all it. There is no question, WWEs brands are no longer the same and it will give wrestling fans a new passion for the wrestling world. Me personlay wwe has been more exciting more fun more entertaing than it has been in a long long time i like how they went with randy and legacy kinda like hhh n evolution but obviosly randy is better ah

  • hey good review, plz watch my review

  • taker v hbk is already match of the year.orton is the best performer in the wwe at the mo

  • Edge v Cena is match of the year so far for me but overall the ppv was bad 5 out of 10.

  • Santino is not funny at all.

  • chrsi swag was a good match

  • good ppv happy chri won disapp in kh san no kiss but lol @ jr shocked ort won, & edge agree match of the night sick f u in fanz & great sick ending matt jeff was ok lame end ppv 7 shocked cm lost like bakro music rko.... ort winin didnt have big feel 2 it

  • Hmm orton and HHh switch rolls with backlash and mania from last year and this year...

  • Wow,everyone on Wrestlecrap is saying that this card should have been Wrestlemania.

  • I thought that your ratings were accurate and unbiased to the big heels.

Edge and Cena easily had the best match on the card. They have very good ring chemistry.

Next was the opener. Great choice and both men delivered hopefully the first of many PPV matches.

Everything else falls into place as you put it. I knew going into the PPV that the WWE title match would not be good and it wasn't. A 6 man tag match for the title where Orton could be champ by not doing anything is a dumb stipulation.

  • You're an idiot, the six-man tag was an example of great psychological booking

  • yeah but here's the thing, I don't want to see psychological bookings. I want to see exciting matches and the 6 man tag was incredibly dull.

  • I agree, twinzeroes. I don't know why people were saying it was 3 stars of even close. It was nothing more than just a regular 6-man tag that we could've seen on RAW. The ending to the match would've got some "awe" if the ring bell hasn't been rung prematurely. It ruined the ending even more, b/c we knew that Orton was going to win.

Now I don't know who he is gonna face now. The only choice now is Batista. If HBK comes back, then him. That's it. RAW lacks top people.

  • i actually really enjoy watching swagger, he is a true wrestler

  • I'm really surprised Christian won the ECW title, I know Mcmahon isn't a fan of his

  • is orton's old music playing in the BG.(HA)

Yeah an ok PPV. My favs won: Jericho, Orton, Edge.

How come no IC or US title match. Instead we get Punk v Kane?!

What do you think HBK will do when he comes back.

  • Moron.

  • Lol i respect your input. Dick.

  • LOL it was funny when steamboat forgot how to do the figure four and this Santino thing is dragging on and making him totally unfunny now and I didn't even realise the bell rang in the WWE title I loved the Edge christian backstage segment and the last man standing match was great.

  • 4 stars for that amazing main event?no comment

Orton is the fucking show! He is the fuckin man!

  • I agree plenty of what you had to say.. I believe this was the best PPV of the year, thus far.. Sure, bash it.. I don't mind.. I was at WrestleMania and didn't think it was that great.. The experience was spectacular, but the wrestling aspect was nothing special.. Call it biased, but the fact my three favorite WWE superstars won, that only made it better.. Lol.. But for Punk getting booed, keep in mind this was in Rhode Island. Rhode Island is basically Smarkville, USA. Why would they like Punk?

  • he was booed when he won the case in houston (i was there as well) and has been booed on a pretty regular basis...i think he just needs a new twist on his character and a heel change might just be the trick

  • I'm tired of people pushing for a CM Punk heel turn.. Sure, I love him heel, if you watch anything from him in indies, whether it be from Germany, England, FIP, IWA-MS, OVW.. Whatever, he's an absolutely amazing heel.. He's just a good character to have face, given this whole "PG" label, promoting the Straight Edge lifestyle would suit for face.. However, I think the main problem with his character is just his lack of personality.. Give him mic time first, if it doesn't work. THEN turn him heel.

  • i got mad at WWE for letting Randy win the match

  • Randy got revenge. With all of Orton's 3 title reigns, he lost all 3 of them to HHH. So this was Randy's revenge! Your living in the Age of Orton. Be happy.

  • 4 title reigns :P

  • oh wait nvm read that wrong..

  • It's alright!

  • I totally agree with the Punk point. If he keeps losing turn him heel. Why the hell does he have that briefcase in the first place.

  • I liked the PPV, and found the Santino segment funny. I expected way worse. Plus, lots of good surprises in this event.

Thanks for the review, even though I don't quite see things from your perspective, people like you who put in all this extra effort make it easier to keep up with results, and make wrestling so interesting by sharing your opinions. We all know it's not real, but its the passion the fans have for the product that make it a viable mainstream medium. So thanks for that

    Peace

  • I donno how you could rate 6 man tag that low. Being there live it was a friggin awesome PPV and Mania def just seemed like a build up to this. Besides the glitz and glamour, this def seemed to be better than Mania. 6 Man Tag was DEF better than Orton/HHH, Edge vs Cena was def better than Triple Threat and Hardy vs Hardy was just as good, if not better than Mania and Steamboat vs Y2J was better than Y2J vs Legends.

  • arman...you were there live so you are going to have a totally different opinion/feel for it

my advice would be to re watch the show and see if you still have the same opinions

  • True which is why I'll do 2 Cent on Live Events vid rather than a vid but this has been the case on more occasions than just this year where Mania seems to build up towards Backlash. I saw the match live and in person, the wrestling was def better for the two title matches at Backlash than at Mania. Hardy and Steamboat/Y2J match, I guess could go either way depends on what you prefer but no way was Triple Threat with Show or was HHH/Orton as good as tonights matches.

  • yeah the wwe title match was realy boring

  • I gave it the same overall score Swagger/Christian was the second best match of the night really enjoyed that opener the Cena/Edge match was good-great but that thing with Big Show hurt it IMO it was on a verge of a ****1/4 then after that it dropped to a ***1/2 match other then those two matches this was just an average ppv from WWE.

  • This was a good review; I enjoy your expansive wrestling knowledge. I like your style of how you explain wrestling reviews.

  • your ratings dont make any sense..... almost everything is over 3 stars..... and yet its a 6.75. Makes no sense.

  • a lot more goes on with my ratings than just the star ratings

if one of your main events is extremely lackluster, that is going to effect the rating (as it effected many ppl's ratings when it came to mania 25)

only 3 matches were either 3 stars or over

out of curiosity, what would you have rated the ppv if you used my star ratings

  • Umm, dude, Astone gave the WWE title match a *1/2. Exactly how is that 'over 3 stars?'

  • ....

  • Just throwing this out- how bout a strong tag team- EDGE AND PUNK ( Heel). What you think bout that?

  • please no.

  • TBH, I was this close to saying Backlash was horrible, but the last match SAVED it! So, during the night, it went from horrible to disappointing. The ECW title match was good, but I felt it was missing something. Jericho vs. Steamboat was too basic for a PPV, though I give respect to Steamboat for performing the way he did tonight for his age. The "I Quit" match dragged. Just when Matt getting tied up, Matt lost some credibility as a heel when he lost, but Jeff gained some in return.

  • The WWE Title match was a random tag match that is RAW quality-type and Cena/Edge was definitely SWEET! I missed CM Punk vs. Kane. I know I dragged on with this, but I think Backlash this year kind of went down the gutter.
