When I do character design I like to use lots of interesting and different kind of animals, instead of just using a Wolf or a cat like everybody else.
But when I begin to stylize it how can I put in little quirks and differences so when people see it, they know exactly what type of breed it is, or what animal it is.
I recently made up a Bilby character, and lots of people just think its a mouse. I know they look alike, but they also have differences too :/ Help ?

Sorry, fillen. I guess I assumed that youngsters wouldn't be interested in this.
iTalk, I use a Wacom Graphics tablet called "Intuos 3" on my laptop.
