This 3010 was of course the lead locomotive in the 1985 movie Runaway train, the second locomotive in in the museum in Anchorage #1500. The other 2, both still exist, 1800 now lives in Granite city, ILLinois, while 1810 now lives in Crosett, Arizona
Alaska Railroad never used regular bells on their GP40-2's because they had the tendency to freeze in the winter. They had a loud and obnoxious digibell mounted on the conductors side of the cab on top of the cab.

The train moves to up to the switch then stops for the crew to throw it before leaving the station.

I rode the train from Anchorage to Whittier, July 2006, the same engine was even in the lead, this brings back great memories.

I could be wrong, but engine #3010 could be the same lead engine from the 1985 movie Runaway Train.

You're spot on - 3010 was the engine used as the leader in Runaway Train
