I have another spy pen and the instructions of mine are also in bad english and chinese. :P Can't they hire professional translators? (actually you don't have to be professional to write a better manual than these :P) Well, I can't control mine so you have an easy one. Mine does not require to switch between photo and video mode. You can switch with the use of the button, which makes it harder. Especially without a proper manual. I have the BPR6 it has 1280x960 video resolution. :D
@Naud1234 Unfortunately there are tons of these pens coming out of China with multiple ways to operate them. And the manuals are horrendous at best as you know.
The way I test the operation of some of these pens is to get the pen to come on. Mostly we see yellow lights that indicate standby and either a red or blue light that shows recording. If the light flashes it usually means video. It if flashes once then goes off it usually means snapshot.
@spygadgetsdotcom Well, I now know how to operate it. But that's not because of the manual. :P Mine works like this. If you press it once, a red light appears. If you hold it longer, it will become green. This is photo mode. Press once to take a photo. The light flashes once. If you hold it for 2 seconds, the light will flash 3 times and turn off and the pen is recording video. If you press it once, the pen stops recording and the indicator light becomes green. Hold it to turn it off.
