nope this year it was a lap between 15-25 he overtook Button round the outside into turn three just hitting the artificial stuff then in Hungary he did Alonso around the outside into turn one and I'm not sure what part of the race it was, it was in the second half of the race I know that :) and three overtakes in one lap in Spain on Rosberg, Massa and Button

One was an engine failure and another was another first lap collision in which someone hit him and broke his suspension

I kind of agree. I think he is a good pilot tho. It's just all I seen him do is win from pole and these days people judge pilots on their victories and not so much the other things. I have yet see vettel race Hamilton alonso,massa etc. heads up and beat them.

Ridiculous.. In brazil 09 Hamilton had kers and the massive advantage of being on a 1 stop strategy.. Vettel pulled in some stunning overtakes in that race.. In china 2010 mclaren had the f-duct, and considering the long straights in malaysia that would be a massive advantage there to aid overtaking..

@Anime998877 so can you tell me what car won brazil 09? the same car the vettel was driving. do you understand strategy? you can make a 1 stop strategy work my carrying a lot more feul, thus slowing you down, but the time lost through carrying extra feul is negated by not having to stop twice. if its such a huge advantage being on a 1 stop then why did vettel not start on a 1 stop?

Vettel was stuck behind in traffic for the whole grand prix though and the 1 stop strategy worked better at that time.. And Red bull locked out the front row because it's classic red bull, their speed in qualifying should never be representative of their race pace. The speed they've got over a race distance is worse than that over 1 lap. Anyway mclaren topped the most sessions in china, their drivers just couldn't get pole when it mattered..
