This dude needs to read, "Makes Me Wanna Holler: A Young Black Man in America" by Nathan McCall. His life practically mirrors several parts of the book, especially in regard to the armed robberies, drug deals and rapes. Perhaps it'll inspire him or give him some hope, because the guy who wrote it went from being just another dead man in jail with no hope of a future to becoming a writer for the Washington Post.
I hope he turns his life around, but he ain't a victim. This dude needs to read, "Makes Me Wanna Holler: A Young Black Man in America" by Nathan McCall. His life practically mirrors several parts of the book, especially in regard to the armed robberies, drug deals and rapes. Perhaps it'll inspire him or give him some hope, because the guy who wrote it went from being just another dead man in jail with no hope of a future to becoming a writer for the Washington Post.

I hope he turns his life around, but he ain't a victim. He was when he was a kid, but since then, he has run trains on women (if you don't know what running a train is, look it up, because it's one of the worst things you can do to a person) and robbed people (and he may not have always done it for survival either as evidenced by the fact that he says that he's addicted and, at times, he had more money than he knew what to do with).
