Years ago at where the spot where the tree is a 15 yr old girl was found skinned and hanging from that tree. That is why all the razor wire is on the fence from ground up so no one can get anywhere near the tree. It is said that Richard Ramirez the night stalker frequented there while he was on his rampage. The house did burn down years ago there is a new owner of the property but no one lives there.

We grew up in that area as kids. During the daytime it was cool to go up there & just mess around. We had quadrunners and would drive them up there. This was back in the 80's. At night, it was a different story. We heard a lot of weird shit. Chanting, rhythmic drum playing, animals being tortured (or what sounded like it). We'd go up there and see dead animals that had obviously been sacrified. We'd see odd markings on the side of the road. Just a lot of weird stuff. Don't know how it is now.

Oh and my siblings and I went beyond the gates MANY times as teenagers (only during the day). There wasn't much beyond the gates besides a shitload of weeds. I know there was what seemed to be remains of a structure. It's been over 20 years though and I don't remember exactly what else was up there. Josiah, what camera did you use for your video? We grew up in that area as kids. During the daytime it was cool to go up there & just mess around. We had quadrunners and would drive them up there. This was back in the 80's. At night, it was a different story. We heard a lot of weird shit. Chanting, rhythmic drum playing, animals being tortured (or what sounded like it). We'd go up there and see dead animals that had obviously been sacrified. We'd see odd markings on the side of the road. Just a lot of weird stuff. Don't know how it is now.

I've interviewed neighbors and have footage of my trips to Turnbull, however I've never gotten past the gates. I just say baywatch footage and they did a very fine job getting behind, but the video sucked and they didn't explore the actual property

ok so me and my buddy finally got behind the gates of hell to exporer back there. We used 3 different ropes tp climb down the hills that are behind the heavy barb wire gates but finally did it and sadly there is nothing behind it but weeds, bushes, and trees. there is no insane asylum back there=( but at least we solved the mystery to what is actually back there and if you dont believe me then check out the 4 videos i uploaded starting with the one called Gates of Hell in Turnbull Canyon (BEHIND

@squirrelman12323 Believe it or not but the gates eventually lead to the insane asylum and the asylum is the sight of a murder but was not released to the public 3 people were found gutted and hanging in there it was actually the sight to more then a dozen murder scenes and to try and stop the murders from happening they closed off the whole area but this info was never released to the public for the fear of attracting more people to this sight so they gated it off to prevent these murders

Gates of Hell is just a name people don't think it leads to hell lmao... and people have interest in this because there is no known ownership documented of that property space, and it's highly secured?
