are their wings clipped and how old are they because i just bought a caique today and i have no idea what im doing i just put him on my shoulder and we just surf the web to gather o and i let him in front of the mirror lol that really funny
My caique does the same thing in the sink. I just started letting her go in the sink and she freaks me out thinking she is going to kill herself. Before using the sink she did the same type of thing in a little plastic bowl

I will have to try that with my Black Capped.
They are such heavy birds for their size, so hearing a nice Thud when they jump around is pretty normal, lol.

This is absolutely NOT stress, it is typical Caique behaviour. I bet they spent the net ten minutes towel surfing to get dry. Great clip.
