doesn't really matter, your eyes don't see more than 24 fps. they see lag, but no more than 24.

In movies, but in games almost everyone can see the difference .....in games you wont notice much more than 60

The Q9550 is considerably faster than the 955B.E. I have a Q9550 at a low overclock(3.4ghz 400x8.5 on an x48 mother board) and 2 4890's. On high settings(highest dx9 goes) and everything maxed, AA included, at a 2560x1600 i still maintain 40fps. The cache is huge and it makes a big difference at texture rendering. Also the FSB on the intel is going to be much faster, which will help more than just increasing CPU frequency. Unfortunately the AMD chips at the high end are just overpriced currently

2 MSI clocked 4890's in CF

4GB Ram

yet i'm only getting 16.5k points, i really think my cpu is the cause. i know these cards can produce a lot more, at least my mobo supports AM3
